After making it five winners from my previous six columns in Madrid on Tuesday, Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the second legs of the Europa League playoff ties, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Claudio Giraldez’s hosts have scored an impressive 17 goals across their opening nine Europa League fixtures this campaign, with eight (47%) of those coming across their four encounters at their Galician base.
Os Celestes have found the back of the net in each of their nine European fixtures this campaign – notching on multiple occasions in six of their last eight – and will be confident of breaching a PAOK backline that failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their four league phase matches on the road, shipping 13 goals.
Experienced PAOK head coach Razvan Lucescu has seen his side score 18 goals across their nine Europa League proper matches this term, with 10 (56%) of those coming across their four away clashes.
The Double-headed Eagle have found the back of the net in each of their previous eight continental contests – scoring two or more in five of their past seven – and will look to add to their impressive goal-tally in Europe against a Celta defence that has recorded a solitary shutout in the Europa League this term.
