The betting weekend starts here as Greg MacLean steps in for Desmond and brings us his best goals bets from across the MLS on Saturday night/Sunday morning, including a Goals Accumulator.

To Score 2+ Goals Tips

Guys, two teams that I like the look of to score 2+ goals in the MLS are St. Louis City and Los Angeles FC.

I’m starting off with in-form St. Louis City to score two or more goals in their home clash with the Colorado Rapids. Yoann Damet’s hosts have fired in an impressive 13 goals across their previous five MLS clashes on home soil – scoring 2+ goals on each occasion – and that trend looks likely to continue against a Rapids side that has picked up just seven points on their travels this season (W2-D1-L6), shipping 15 goals.

Next up, it’s LAFC to score two or more goals at home to Sporting KC. The Black and Gold head into this clash off the back of three consecutive wins in the MLS – scoring three times in each of their last two – and will be confident of continuing their recent upturn of form against a Sporting KC backline that is still yet to register a clean sheet this campaign, shipping 25 goals across their opening eight road trips.

Going for the usual 3 points double that pays 11/10 with bet365.

Both Teams to Score Double

Other goal bets that I like the look of this weekend include a 19/20 Both Teams to Score double of Columbus Crew vs FC Cincinnati and Portland Timbers vs Real Salt Lake.

  • After seeing just four goals scored across their opening three MLS clashes this term, Cincinnati’s next 13 have averaged a staggering 5.85 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in 12 (93%) of them, whilst nine of the Crew’s last 12 have seen both teams oblige.
  • The Timbers’ opening seven MLS clashes in front of their supporters this campaign have averaged an impressive 4.14 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in six (86%) of them, whilst each of RSL’s last six road trips have seen both teams get on the scoresheet.

Over 2.5 Goals Tips

An over 2.5 goals treble at New York City FC, San Diego FC, and San Jose Earthquakes, 1 point at 5/2.

  • The Fire’s opening 15 MLS encounters this campaign have averaged 3.20 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in 11 (73%) of them – including in seven of their last eight – whilst 6/8 (75%) of NYCFC’s home clashes have seen Over 2.5 Goals land.
  • San Diego’s opening nine matches at home in the MLS this term have averaged a whopping 4.22 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals landing in eight (89%) of them, whilst 10 of Dallas’s last 13 have seen a minimum of three goals.
  • After seeing just eight goals scored across their opening five MLS encounters this season, The Quakes’ next 11 have averaged a whopping 4.09 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in nine (82%) of them, whilst 12 of the Galaxy’s last 16 MLS encounters have gone Over 2.5 Goals.

A roll-up of all seven pays 13/1 for 0.5 pts and a roll-up of all seven being overs pays 13.5/1 for 0.5pts.

Good luck with your selections on Saturday guys.

Greg.
