Yesterday may have been the longest day of the year, but they all feel long at the moment while we count down the day until the start of the new season.

The Finnish top flight is in action and top of the table KuPS Kuopio welcome Oulo. The hosts have won nine and drawn one of the last 10 meetings between the sides so if recent history is anything to go by they should be good for favourite backers at 4/11. But Oulo are on of the form teams, taking 13 from the last 18 points available so beware.

HIFK appear to have struggle so far this season and are the only side without a win. They travel to Ilves who are unbeaten in the last 10 editions of this fixture (W7 D3) and have lost just one of their last eight league games. They're just 9/20 to win but could be decent for adding to an Acca.

HJK sit second in the table on goal difference and they travel to second-bottom IFK Mariehamn who have won just once this season, but they have taken points off top side KuPS and third placed Honnka.

Doubling up HJK and Ilves pays over 11/10 at Bet365.

In Norway it's the next round of the national cup competition and there looks like quite a few mismatches once again, so much so that Bet365 haven't even priced up a number of games. There was a plethora of goals in the last round and there could be more today.

In these early rounds of the competition top flight teams play away from home but with the likes of Molde, Bodo/Glimt, Lillestrom and Stromsgodset to name just a few are all drawn against opposition from the third tier or below we should still see plenty of goals.

At the time of writing Bet365 were running scared and didn't have goals markets available for a selection of games so check closer to kick-off or in-play.

Of those available, Over 2.5 goals in games featuring Molde, Lillestrom and Stromsgodset pays 92/100.

Following on from Monday’s 7/1 winner, Jamie Kennedy's Wednesday four-fold goals acca pays 13/2 and feature’s four matches from the Finnish Veikkausliiga.

Gabriel has also previewed tonight's UEFA Under-19 Championship Group Stage between England's U19s and Serbia U19s which is live on the BBC Red Button and iPlayer.

Super Singles,

  • HJK & Ilves to win 117/100 Bet365
  • Over 2.5 Goals pays 92/100 (Bet365) at
    • Brattvag v Molde
    • Gjovik/Lyn v Stromsgodset
    • Junkeren v Lillestrom

Bruce koepke the latest scab golfer to jump ship.
They are like slags these greedy golfers, dangle a few quid and they lose any self decency and to some degree morals and forget that the PGA are the reason they are where they are.
It’s not just where the money is coming from, Saudi have lured the grand Prix race, Anthony Joshua fights etc also, it’s the speed of their desertion that is worrying.
And they still want the best of both worlds by competing in majors and now they are demanding ranking points for playing on this tour of greed.

Put it this way if I employed someone who moved to another company for more money, I’d say thanks for your efforts and goodbye, I certainly wouldn’t take them back on after especially on these terms these golfers are demanding, “oh I will work for you when it suits me”
    🏌️‍♂️Bah humbug 🏌️‍♂️

    Put it this

Interesting points Elvis but this is a business. We see footballers moving everyday for more money and little gets said, it’s getting highlighted way too much as far as I’m concerned.

Well said EP, your 100% correct. Enjoyed reading your thoughts.

The mercenaries seem to forget what made them Famous and millionaires. Just hope the tours don’t give in to them and let them play on the tour again. That would be a slap in the face to players such as Rory and Co who have turned down the vast sums offered.

Regarding footballers moving for more money, until Financial fairplay rules are adhered to i can only see football getting worse.Man Utd are a prime example of overpaying footballers 500,000 a week for players is ridiculous, now years ago Man Utd set a trend and they thought they would out price all the other teams out the market for the top players and when they started this trend i said it would backfire on them eventually and it certainly has.It looks like United have learn’t the hard way that over paying players doesn’t work and i believe now they are going to implement a wage structure.Lets face it when your over paying players all you are getting is big ego’s.

PSG are another team that are of control absolute madness how they can afford all the wages they pay and no one bats an eyelid.Man City are paying silly wages whilst sticking to the supposed financial Fairplay rules. Now there is absolutely no way Man City bring in more revenue through sponsorship etc than Liverpool and Man Utd,Liverpool let Mane go because of his wage demands and i take my hat off to them because what’s going to happen eventually is the Premier league is going to come crashing down because no one at the top never investigated the rules that were meant to be adhered to.I look at Barcelona who are on the brink of being ruined, they paid Messi a million quid a week and it bankrupted them. All teams should have a wage structure and there should be a salary cap this will come eventually when the Premier League becomes a farmers league because if it wasn’t for Klopp then City would run away with it year in year out simply because they were allowed to spend whatever they like, something has to give and lets hope when those brown envelopes stop getting passed around something is done.Look at the world cup that’s coming up it is going to be the worst one we will ever witness there will be no atmosphere very drab affair and not one i look forward to.Money is ruining sport.

      Resistencia SC
      V
      Club 12 de Octubre
      22:00
      Paraguayan Primera Division
Both teams to score 10-11 (HILLS)

This is NOT a NAP it’s best of a shocking evening card.
These are 2 teams in poor form especially 12 October who can’t buy a goal but that could change at a leaky resistance.

This could easily end 0-0 or 3-3, so an early goal is probably essential.
Last 3 head to head were BTTS and the reverse game in April ended 1-1 which offer hope.

      Prediction 1-1 or 2-1
Surely 12 October can score soon, it’s 4 games with no goal.
Resistancia average 3 match goals per game despite a few 0-0 draws .
