There’s a real mishmash of games across an assortment of tournaments north and south of the border this evening so let’s see if we can pick out some winners.
There’s a full card of Scottish Premiership matched over the next two nights starting with Hibernian v Ross County this evening.
Hibs have drawn blank in three of their last four outings but the most recent two have been against Rangers and Celtic. They didn’t show much attacking endeavour against the latter on Saturday but it should be a different story tonight.
They’re 3/5 to win but can’t be trusted at that kind of price even though they’ve only lost once under new boss Nick Montgomery.
County hit three for the first time this season at Motherwell on Saturday including a fine goal by Simon Murray. Eamonn Brophy also netted and alongside Jordan White County should be more potent in front of goal than they have been so far.
There’s plenty of firepower there and we could see an entertaining match tonight with a few goals. Over 2.5 looks worth taking on at 17/20.
In the Carabao Cup Middlesbrough are bigger than expected at 4/5 to get the better of Exeter City who are 17th in League One and eight without a win.
In fact it’s just one win in 11 for Gary Caldwell’s men, a run that began with a 9-0 defeat to Reading back in September. They’ve only scored three goals in that time so will need a sudden and vast improvement in fortunes to beat a Boro side who have been going well in the Championship, suffering a first defeat in seven at the weekend.
Doubling up Over 1.5 Goals at Easter Road with two or more goals for Middlesbrough pays just over 6/5.

Crazy price since they beat Colchester 5-0 in this competition, although not doing half as well as Peterborough in league one atm, but the u21s are also top of their league too! Would expect them closer to 2/1 for the win and I think that would probably be generous.

No, not that I don’t think we might win (optimistic!) It’s a long season! Did look at it couple weeks back at 22/1 and wanted odds a little higher for me to bet on that!
We all know who will win it but nothing wrong with a bit of hope. You need luck on your side to win a league title Spurs have certainly had that with own goals and offside decisions. City though are yet to be punished for the 115 charges against them depending on how many brown envelopes are passed about surely a points deduction is inevitable, or will the F.A wait until the start of next season to impose a punishment.
Exactly that, couple injuries could quite easily kill us. The hope comes in big ange, actually believe he is the best manager in the league, obviously pep is because of the profile of teams he has been at and the success but could he take a team fighting relegation to a title in a season or so without a big budget? Whereas ange has done that twice before! Bloke is a genius and lucky to have him and just excited for the ride, we deserve some good times!
I think Jurgen Klopp is the best manager in the league mate and that’s not just because he manages my team. The budgets he works with at this level I don’t think there is any other manager that could have won what he’s won. Van De Ven looks an amazing defender and he was about to sign for Liverpool but Klopp wouldn’t assure him a starting spot every week which he wanted.

Yer it’s a bit like the ronaldo/messi debate tbf between them 2, just i think ange is the old ronaldo scoring more of his goals for lesser teams! 😆 it’s gonna be exciting to see how he fares though, gonna love the games between us 2 over the next few years, my wife being a pool fan too, if managers stay of course!
