Tuesday’s football tips: Try a 167/100 shots double as Arsenal take on Sporting Lisbon

Arsenal's season is in danger of falling apart and they'll be desperate to avoid a third successive defeat when they take on Sporting Lisbon tonight in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

Tentative talk of a quadruple has been replaced by fears the Gunners will bottle it again after losing in the EFL Cup Final to Manchester City and crashing out of the FA Cup to Southampton.

So it will be fascinating to see how Mikel Arteta's injury-hit side respond tonight against a Sporting team who have lost just once in their last 15 matches.

Sporting Lisbon vs Arsenal top betting tips

I'm surprised to see Arsenal as 3/4 favourites with most firms tonight given how poor they've been in their last two outings.

So Sporting Lisbon could offer some value at 390/110 at 10Bet while backing them in the double chance looks a safer option at 21/20 with Bet365.

Those odds are probably based on Arsenal's 5-1 win on their last visit to Lisbon but the Gunners are not in the same groove now.

I can see Arteta playing it cagey so chances could be at a premium and under 2.5 goals only pays 10/11 with Bet365.

Viktor Gyokeres will be out to impress against his old club and the Sweden striker has been in great form of late. He looks good at 17/20 for a shot on target and combining that with the same bet for Sporting's Luis Suarez pays a decent 167/100 at Unibet.

Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich

Tonight's other Champions League quarter-final is a clash of the titans as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich lock horns at the Bernabeu.

This is the most played fixture in Champions League history and it's the Spanish giants who have dominated of late.

Bayern haven't won any of the last nine meetings but will fancy their chances this season with Real Madrid in a bit of disarray.

A 2-1 weekend defeat in Mallorca has left Alvaro Arbeloa's side seven points behind Barcelona but they continue to come alive in Europe.

Real Madrid thrashed Manchester City at home in the last 16 so Betfred may regret making them as big as 2/1 for a victory tonight.

Wrexham will be hoping Southampton have a hangover from their FA Cup party when the shock troops come to Wales tonight for a crunch Championship clash.

Saints upset the odds to dump Arsenal out of the FA Cup on Saturday night and that made it 15 games unbeaten for Tonda Eckert's men.

Despite that storming run, Southampton only sit seventh in the table but a win tonight would lift them above Wrexham into the play-off slots with a game in hand.

FC Hollywood's bid for an incredible fourth promotion remains on track but they've wobbled a little of late, winning just two of their last five.
