We need to look far and wide for a football fix today but there are still some games that catch the eye.
In Spain there's the small matter of the Madrid Derby in the Copa Del Ray. In La Liga, Real hold the upper hand, leading their rvials by 10 points and they tend to come out on top when the teams have met of late.
Atleti have won just one of the last eight meetings and there's been a dearth of goals between the sides too. Only one of those eight games have gone over 2.5 goals with just 10 goals scored in that time.
Real Madrid haven't won this trophy since 2014 and just five times in the last 30 years so it's perhaps not always at the top of their priority list which is enough to dissuade a punt on them at 10/11. The low goals angle looks a better bet and under 2.5 goals pays 4/5. No to both teams to score also appeals at 4/5
The opposite is true in the Dutch Eredivisie where Ajax host Volendam. It's not been a vintage season for the Amsterdammers who sit fifth in the table, eight points behind leader Feyenoord, with whom they drew at the weekend. But they should pick up three points and rack up some goals against the side second bottom in the table.
The two sides met in a friendly back in December and shared nine goals with Ajax eventually prevailing after falling three goals behind. We can't read too much in to that but Ajax do love a goal at home, where they've scored 26 in eight games and this evening their up against the worst defence in the league.
The four-time European champions are 1/8 to win and to score over two they're just 2/5. Over 3.5 Ajax goals pays even money but that might be pushing it so a small interest in them scoring at least two in the first half could be a better option at 21/20.
