THE Swiss only need a point to reach the knockout phase but can progress with panache by taking all three.
They followed up a superb 1-1 draw with Brazil with another fightback, beating Serbia 2-1 to put themselves within touching distance of the last 16.
In contrast Costa Rica are still without a point or even a goal although they pushed Brazil all the way before being sunk by two injury-time strikes.
Los Ticos have nothing to lose and have spoken of their determination not to leave empty-handed, so should at least soften their ultra-defensive approach and try to score.
Swizterland striker Haris Seferovic is set to be dropped after two poor displays, with Mario Gavranovic or Breel Embolo taking his place. Playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri was the main danger in the last match, scoring the late winner and hitting the woodwork with a superb strike, and can threaten again here.
