Premier League betting tips

There are four Premier League fixtures to look forward to on Sunday, including a trio of 2pm kick-offs.

Bournemouth host Sunderland, Brighton and Crystal Palace contest the M23 derby, while bitter rivals Leeds and Manchester United meet at Elland Road.

The action concludes at the City Ground later in the afternoon, where Nottingham Forest take on reigning champions Arsenal.

Sunday's Premier League tips and expert betting predictions

AFC Bournemouth vs Sunderland (Sunday, 14:00)

Tipster: The Betting Desk

Bournemouth welcome Sunderland to the Vitality Stadium on Sunday with the Premier League fixture kicking off at 14:00.

Tip 1: Over 2.5 goals & BTTS

Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals is the best bet at 11/10. The attacking performances of both teams provide the starting point.

Tip 2: Over 2.5 goals

The combination of Bournemouth's home attacking output, Sunderland's away xG and both teams' defensive vulnerabilities provides a reasonable case for an open contest.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Crystal Palace (Sunday, 14:00)

Tipster: The Betting Desk

Brighton have scored 18 goals in their opening six Premier League matches, but their impressive attacking form faces a familiar test when Crystal Palace visit the Amex Stadium on Sunday at 14:00.

Tip 1: Brighton win & over 1.5 goals

At 8/11, the selection requires an implied probability of 57.9%. The available evidence supports Brighton as the more likely winners, while the modest two-goal requirement makes this a more sensible approach than demanding a comfortable home victory.

Tip 2: Brighton over 1.5 goals & both teams carded

Brighton's attacking numbers have been among the strongest in the Premier League. They are averaging 1.99 expected goals (xG), 18 shots and 4.5 big chances per match, providing evidence that their impressive scoring record is supported by the quality and quantity of opportunities they create.

Leeds United vs Manchester United (Sunday, 14:00)

Tipster: Greg MacLean

Manchester United will look to bounce back from yet another disappointment in midweek as they travel to Elland Road to take on Leeds United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Tip 1: Leeds United -0.25 Asian Handicap

Daniel Farke’s hosts have performed well this season and will have their backers at 27/20, but I’m happy to go with the slightly more conservative pick and back them -0.25 Asian Handicap, meaning a draw will mean we only lose half our stake.

Tip 2: Draw

The Red Devils have drawn three of their last four Premier League outings – and given Leeds have drawn three of their past five – I’m also happy to have a play on the draw.

Tip 3 : Ethan Ampadu To Be Shown a Card

Ethan Ampadu is no stranger to the referee’s notebook, with his yellow card at the Emirates last weekend being his second in his last three appearances for club and country.

The Welsh international was also booked when these two rivals last met at Old Trafford in April, and looks like decent value at 11/5 at bet365 to be shown a card at Elland Road on Sunday.

Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal (Sunday, 16:30)

Tipster: Greg MacLean

Arsenal will look to make it three wins in the space of eight days as they travel to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest on Super Sunday.

Tip 1: Arsenal to Win & Under 4.5 Goals

All five of Arsenal’s Premier League victories this season have featured fewer than five goals.

Tip 2: Arsenal to Win to Nil

An Arsenal Win to Nil pays a juicier 13/8.

Tip 3: Bukayo Saka to Score or Assist

Bukayo Saka made an immediate impact off the bench against Lille in midweek, as he created an assist after just two minutes of coming on, before scoring four minutes later.

The England international has also scored in three of his six appearances in the Premier League this season, and is priced at 20/21 at bet365 to Score or Assist.
