If you’re looking for closely fought and tense matches to watch at the weekend, then Sunday’s Serie A fixtures are just the thing for you.
The table after the first six rounds is extraordinary, with four of the usual favourites for a top-four finish languishing much further down the table. And after tomorrow’s four matches, there are likely to be even more surprising shifts.

Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions
Udinese vs. Lecce (11:30am)
The day kicks off with a clash at the bottom of the table between Udinese and Lecce, who are both struggling with similar problems.
Both teams have suffered four defeats in their last five matches and are plagued by the same defensive frailties. There is one positive, and that is their ability to score goals; in a match like this, we can expect both teams to find the net.
A draw appeals to me greatly, but this is a match that could go either way. So I’ll simply go for BTTS, based on my expectation of a 1-1 draw.

Fiorentina vs. Como (2pm)
Fiorentina’s run of tough fixtures begins with Como, who have looked surprisingly vulnerable of late.
La Viola are in a relegation battle and have so far secured just one win, against Venezia, who are the only team in the league to have lost every game so far.
Como have not won any of their last three matches and, surprisingly, have failed to score a single goal. Fiorentina, however, are the perfect opponents to turn that around. Seven of the hosts’ eight matches this season have ended with at least three goals.
Fiorentina vs. Como top betting tip: Over 2.5 goals
AC Milan vs. Atalanta (5pm)
It seems that Ruben Amorim and AC Milan are a better match than expected, with the Rossoneri yet to lose in Serie A. They don’t always win, but this is certainly an improvement.
Atalanta have finally put their run of three defeats behind them and look much more effective in attack after scoring six goals in their last two matches.
AC Milan have not beaten La Dea in their last four home matches, which is a troubling stat ahead of this clash. That could change on Sunday, but not without conceding a goal.

Juventus vs. Lazio (7:45pm)
Following the strongest start in the club’s history, Lazio are level on points with Inter at the top of the table, but face an away trip to Juventus, which is one of the toughest fixtures in Serie A.
The Old Lady will be looking for a bit of consistency after a few slip-ups in the league, and their comeback victory over Celta Vigo in the Europa League should provide them with plenty of motivation.
Lazio haven’t won at this stadium since 2017, which is a cause for concern. But their current form gives me confidence that they can pick up at least a point.
