There are just two Bundesliga matches left on Sunday, but they’ll be more than enough to keep things exciting.
If Bayern Munich vs RB Leipzig was Saturday’s highlight, then Bayer Leverkusen vs Freiburg is certainly the sort of match that could top the bill. To top it all off, we have a clash between the bottom two in the table, which usually promises plenty of tension.
Keep reading below for our expert tips and predictions for the two Bundesliga matches on Sunday.
Today’s Bundesliga betting tips & predictions
Bayer Leverkusen vs. Freiburg (2:30pm)
We can expect anything from a match like this. Freiburg are travelling to Leverkusen on the back of their strongest ever start to a Bundesliga season, whilst the hosts haven’t looked this dominant for over a year.
We can’t expect anything other than goals here. Bayer Leverkusen are yet to lose at home, whilst Freiburg have recorded eight commanding victories in nine matches across all competitions. By ‘dominant’, we mean that they score an average of over three goals per match.
Nine of the last 10 matches between the two sides have featured at least one goal from each team. Eight of the last 10 have featured at least three goals. In my view, a combination of both markets is entirely reasonable here.
Bayer Leverkusen vs. Freiburg top betting tip: BTTS & Over 2.5 goals
Borussia Monchengladbach vs. Hoffenheim (4:30pm)
Much like the big match mentioned above, here we have two teams that usually produce some of the most entertaining fixtures of the entire season.
They are currently neck and neck at the bottom of the table, and every point could make the difference between survival and relegation at the end of the season.
Nine of the last 10 matches between the two sides have featured at least one goal from either side or over 2.5 goals. Last season we saw scores of 4–0 and 5–1. The season before that, 4–4 and 2–1. A year earlier still, 4–3 and 2–1. The picture here is clear.
