Celtic unfurl the Scottish Premiership flag as they embark on their quest to win a 12th title in 13 years.
Aberdeen are the visitors for what should be a bit of a party in the east end of Glasgow. The Dons will be out to spoil it though and started the season well with four wins from four without conceding in what was admittedly a pretty weak League Cup group. Nonetheless, confidence is seldom higher than the before the first match of the season.
But they've a pretty abysmal against record the Hoops especially at Celtic Park and could be in for a long afternoon. One things for sure, Celtic will enjoy the lion's share of possession and that will mean plenty of corners for the home side. With Jota and Maeda signed permanently, adding to squad already full of width, we can expect Celtic to keep delivering high corner counts as they did last season under Ange Postecoglou.
