Nottingham Forest and Leeds will both be aiming to kick off the new Premier League season with three points when they meet at the City Ground on Saturday afternoon.
Forest are once again starting the campaign with a new man in the dugout after finishing 16th last season, with Oliver Glasner taking over from Vitor Pereira.
Leeds, on the other hand, will be hoping to carry their impressive form from the second half of last season into the new campaign, after recovering strongly from a slow start to finish 14th.
Morgan Gibbs-White 2+ Shots
This bet builder is going to centre around one player in particular, that being Morgan Gibbs-White.
For the first instalment of the double, I'm backing the Nottingham Forest ace to attempt two or more shots. Typically deployed in an advanced midfield role, Gibbs-White is a player who needs no invitation to pull the trigger whenever the opportunity arises. The stats back that up, particularly last season. Indeed, Gibbs-White averaged 2.41 efforts per game in the top flight last term. Upon closer inspection, it can be seen that he fired off at least two shots in each of the final seven Premier League games he started last season.
Further encouragement comes from the fact that the Tricky Trees talisman delivered 2+ efforts in each of Forest's two fixtures with Leeds last season.
Morgan Gibbs-White To Be Fouled 1+ Time
For the second leg of the bet builder, I'm backing Gibbs-White to be fouled at least once.
The Forest star is a constant attacking threat and isn't afraid to get stuck in either, which often results in opponents taking a more physical approach to dealing with him. He was drawing an average of 1.19 fouls per game in the Premier League last season and was fouled at least once in 10 of his final 14 appearances.
On top of all that, Gibbs-White was brought down in each of his two outings against Leeds last season.
Likely to come up against Ethan Ampadu, there's plenty of scope for that trend to continue. The Leeds captain committed an average of 1.45 fouls per 90 in the Premier League last season.
Combined, this double will bring about a 20/23 Bet Builder that looks good value.
