MORTON have a difficult trip to face Dundee United on Saturday, but the in-form Greenock side have already escaped with a draw from Tannadice this season and emerge with at least a point again.
Dougie Imrie's side have turned the corner recently with four wins from six in the Championship. They are unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions too.
They started the season looking like they might face a relegation battle, but have really picked up and were too good for Ayr in midweek with a convincing three-goal win.
United have won their last couple of games with three-goal wins too, but they've slipped up on a few occasions this season, particularly at home.
They have lost to Raith Rovers and draw with Inverness, Dunfermline and Morton at Tannadice.
Morton should be nowhere near the 6/1 to win, so back the Cappielow men double chance to either win or draw at a still generous price of 2/1.
DUMBARTON have enjoyed a long festive break having now played since before Christmas where they somehow tossed two points away against bottom side Clyde by conceding two injury times goals in a 4-4 draw.
They will be smarting for that and after postponed games, should return to action with a win against East Fife at the Rock at 17/20.
They've lost only once in their last eight games and that was to in-form leaders Stenhousemuir. They have scored at least four goals in three of their last four games and can win against an inconsistent East Fife side.
The Methil men have netted just one goal in their last three games and will struggle to get anything at Dumbarton.
In the same League Two, leaders STENHOUSEMUIR should justify strong favourtism of 4/6 to continue their remarkable winning run against Forfar Atheltic.
Stenny are now 11 points clear at the top after an incredible run of form that has seen Gary Naysmith's men win nine games in a row, which was the perfect response to being embarrassed in the
Scottish Cup by Highland League Brora Rangers at home.
That run started with a 3-1 win at Forfar and they look too strong again for the Loons who have won just once in their last six league games.
Back Stenny at 4/6 at Ochilview to make it ten-in-a-row.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
MORTON DOUBLE CHANCE 2/1
DUMBARTON 17/20
STENHOUSEMUIR 4/6.
