With Liverpool, Spurs, Man City and Newcastle all at 1/2 or shorter to win it’s going to be a tough week for punters to find value in the Premier League.

That four team acca pays just over 7/2 but it doesn’t come without risk.

Best bet could be at Craven Cottage where seasoned top-flighters Fulham take on the league’s new boys, Luton.

The Hatters have yet to pick up a point and have conceded three and four goals in their two away matches. A Fulham win pays 4/6 but you can boost that to 20/21 by adding Marco Silva’s side to score two to or more.

On Thursday we highlighted Swindon Town’s scoring exploits so far this season. They’ve hit 20 in 6 games, making them the most prolific in the country at this stage. Evergreen Charlie Austin is plying his trade with the Robins and he can help us towards three or more goals against a Walsall side who’s matches are averaging over 2.5 goals per game.

Wrexham aren’t far behind Swindon on the goalscoring front and no-one has been more entertaining to watch than the Dragons. Their matches are averaging 4.57 goals. Visitors Grimsby might not be so prolific but and they’ve only had one Over 2.5 match this term – hopefully another today.

In the Scottish Premiership St Johnstone and Rangers kick things off in Perth with the visitors desperate to bounce back from defeat against Celtic with a win.

Captain James Tavernier is so often the driving force for the Gers and he’s 7/1 to net first at McDiarmid Park and 15/8 to score anytime.

Celtic host newly promoted Dundee. Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers kept the doubters quiet with that win at Ibrox but memories will be lingering of an uninspiring 0-0 draw with St Johnstone in the last home game.

The Hoops haven’t hit top gear yet this season and if they can get an early breakthrough today they could notch a few against Tony Docherty’s men.

Over three first half corners for Celtic appeals at 4/5 as does the 13/8 for over four.

Ross County have won two and lost two so far but the two defeats have come against Celtic and Rangers so they’ll be delighted to have taken six points from their opening four games.

They’ve plenty of attacking options and look a good proposition to beat an unpredictable Livingston side at 11/8.

Dundee Utd and Raith Rovers lead the way at the top of the Champions and should both win at home today. The Double pays 9/5.

We’ve flagged up Stirling Albion a few times this season and they’ve already been backed to win at Annan who are second bottom of the table but are still backable at 7/5.

Goals should be guaranteed at Falkirk who host Queen of the South. There’s been a whopping 22 goals scored in the Doonhamers' last five matches and the Bairns aren’t short of firepower either. Over 2.5 is prices at 13/20 while Over 3.5 is 13/8.

Montrose can take advantage of struggling Edinburgh City’s form. The side from the capital are pointless after five games and were knocked out of the cup by Lowland League side East Kilbride. The home win is 4/6.

    Wolves vs Liverpool

Really can’t see anything other than a relatively decisive Liverpool win.

I’m a wolves fan and I can safely say that we can’t defend and we have a fabulous ability to pick up cards.

    – Liverpool 2+ Goals (inc 1 in the 2nd half)
    – wolves 2+ cards

Yeah Macca. I’d expect this one to be a formality for you. Hopefully things change at Wolves quickly but it needs bigger changes than on the pitch and management.

    • maccathered 8 months ago

It’s a strange one Rich, that performance against Man Utd at Old Toilet was outstanding you’d of thought they would of taken some confidence from that game.

    • richb20806 8 months ago

I think that was all Lopeteguis tactics and plan mate. As the weeks have gone on Gary o’neils influence is taking over. Tactically he is quite naive. I have every belief that he will try a high press today and you will carve us open like butter.

Swindon v Walsall Saturday 3 pm

Randomly came across a stat while studying tonight that Swindon have the 3rd worst XG-against for set pieces in the league. Looked at potential scorers from Walsall at big prices who were an ariel threat. Spotted Oisin McEntee, who is 6″3. He usually plays on the right side of centre half but it looks like he has been converted to a midfielder since last week. Headlines in the local Walsall paper seem to confirm he will be playing there from now on, watched video of manager after last week’s game and that seemed to confirm it also. He scored the winner and also got an assist in their win last weekend so every reason to believe he will be staying there. He has actually scored 3 goals in the last 8, scoring in the EFL trophy, the League Cup and last weeks winner against Salford.
From looking at the odds the bookies are pricing him as if he is still a defender. The other Walsall midfielders, Taylor Allen 18/1 and Ryan Stirk, who is more of a defensive midfielder from what I’ve seen, is 25/1. McEntee is a massive 33/1 to score first and 14/1 anytime which looks serious value especially considering he seems to be heavily involved in alot of their attacking play. Swindon conceded 3 against Sutton last week and considering Sutton had only scored 2 goals in the their previous 5 games that says alot about their defending. Swindon have conceded 5 in their 3 games at home this season in the league.
Walsall have won back to back games and look like a side playing with alot of confidence. They thoroughly deserved their win against Salford last week. They have scored in every game in all competitions this season. Away from home their goals read 2,2,2,3,1. Every reason to think they can get a couple on Saturday. Priced up at 2/1 which looks very tempting. 7/1 for 3+.

McEntee’s height could be a real issue for Swindon and the odds are just too good to not have a go. Seems like the bookies have possibly not noticed his change in position. Wouldn’t be surprised if this price gets cut by Saturday.

    Bets :

    Walsall over 2.5 team goals 7/1 bet365

    ⭐️ Bet of the Weekend

    🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Swindon v Walsall
    📆 Saturday 16th September 3pm
    🏆 League Two

    🗒 2pts – Over 1.5 Swindon Goals 17/20 Betfair

We head to the county ground again, and once again I’m happy to play the Swindon goals.

As mentioned previously, the front 3 of Kemp, Young and Austin are in fire this season, and the fact we could get these odd for the home to grab 2 or more goals in crazy!

Walsall are leaky as well, conceding multiple times on 5 occasions already including cup games, and 4 of these were away games.

Swindon have scored 2 or more in 6 of there 8 games so far this year, and scoring a massive 20 goals in just 6 games….and one of them finish 0-0!

Goodluck with the bets today all 👍

    • maccathered 8 months ago

Strange comment again given they have conceded fewer goals than 18 other teams in the Premier League thus far. City are the only team to concede fewer, at least if your going to comment make sure it’s true.

      1
    • Deano86 8 months ago

Stop taking things personal mate it’s just my opinion.

Liverpool have conceded in every game apart from your last match against villa , Chelsea were the better team , Bournemouth had plenty of chances to score more and obviously Newcastle played you off the park till nunez turned it around , I’m not saying you haven’t done well what I’m saying is teams are getting plenty of chances , at least i can say when united are useless for some reason you can’t take any criticism against your team (not that i even gave any)

Calm down abit we all have different opinions.

      26
    • SmokeyJoe 8 months ago

Nearly as strange as your comment yesterday about Liverpool and City being the EPL’s ‘2 big sides’ when Man Utd are as big a club as either and its not even debatable

      6
    • Deano86 8 months ago

Ey smokey i didn’t think it was a strange comment 🤣

      2
    • maccathered 8 months ago

This is a tipping site and you give out wrong information that’s my problem, Liverpool have conceded 3 goals and City have conceded 2, look at what the rest of the teams have conceded. I aren’t taking anything personal but if your commenting like you are at least state why, for example Liverpool give chances up no end because of Jurgen Klopp’s style of play, he likes to play a high line it’s called risk and reward.

      2
    • Deano86 8 months ago

What wrong information did i give explain ????

      2
    • maccathered 8 months ago

You keep stating Liverpool’s defence is poor but that’s not quite true is it,. That’s just your opinion but when we are betting we need facts not opinions so don’t take me the wrong way. on another note with you being a Man Utd fan why is the Man Utd game 1/3 to go over 2.5 goals?? been scratching my head at that price all morning and can’t fathom out why such low odds.

      1
    • Deano86 8 months ago

Macca probably because Brighton games have seen score lines of 4-1 , 1-4 , 1-3 , and 3-1 , Uniteds defence is all over the place but with it been at old Trafford i think bookies will be expecting united to get a couple and as i said with uniteds defence Brighton could get 2 or 3 them selfs , 2-2 for me!

      1
    • fitzythegypsy 8 months ago

Dean’s original message was a subjective opinion, he wasn’t stating facts and figures, so it can’t be “wrong information”!! My word

It’s the EPL not a farmers league, I never expected an easy game today.

    • SmokeyJoe 8 months ago

Oh here we go….’the farmers league’ and you say that like you expect it too offend me 😂 that mighty English top flight that you have won once in 30 odd years yet you are on here religiously telling anyone that will listen that Liverpool are wonderful and Man United are terrible. Then when City clean up as usual you spit the ‘FFP’ rattle oot yer pram and how much City spend compared too Liverpool.

      5
    • maccathered 8 months ago

It is a farmers league, I fully expect City to win the league, 115 ffp charges don’t come out of nowhere but I’m sure you will have some sort of excuse why they shouldn’t stand. I seen you comment to another user the other day who mentioned the Internationals and of course you butted in as per usual like a washer woman.

      1
    • SmokeyJoe 8 months ago

City and their FFP charges have nothing to do with me,im not a City fan so no excuses required. Im a Celtic fan as you know, that Scottish club in the farmers league that is 1 of only 3 clubs in the UK too make profit in transfers over the last 10 seasons. We live within in our means and dont need £100m+ a year TV money like yous lot down there where most clubs lose money year after year. Your club spends more on agent fees than my club spends on transfer fees…its hardly a comparison between the levels of the clubs, its a bit like Lewis Hamilton telling my cars a banger.

A washer woman 😂 Anyone mentions Liverpool in a negative manner and you are in there like a tramp eating chips with yer yak, yak, yak about how good Liverpool are. You’re constantly talking down other clubs and nations. You think the Liverpool & the EPL is the be all and end all in football with all other leagues just farmers leagues, yawn

    Freiburg vs Dortmund
Everything in this one points to an end to end game with lot’s of chances. It’s only 3 games in but so far Freiburg are averaging 18 shots a game and Dortmund 15.3. Both sides are also allowing plenty of chances with Freiburg’s opponents averaging 16.7 and Dortmund’s 15 attempts per game. Overall in the opening few weeks of the season Freiburg’s matches have averaged 34.7 shots and Dortmund 30.3. A few bets for me in this one.

      West Ham vs Man City
Both sides have started the season very well. I expect West Ham to sit back and defend in numbers and try and hit City on the counter when possible. The last City away game they managed 30 shots in total although at a much weaker Sheffield United side and 17 away to Burnley. Not expecting those sort of high numbers again in this one unless West Ham took an early lead but I still expect a difficult afternoon for the away side.

    ***** LOST *****

    – Liverpool 2+ Goals (inc 1 in the 2nd half)
    – wolves 2+ cards
    21/20 (NAP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) – bet365

    – Liverpool to win
    – Liverpool 2+ goals
    – wolves 2+ cards
    – most goals 2nd half
    11/4 (NB ⭐️⭐️) – bet365

Both bets lost because for once we didn’t stack up cards 🙄

Thought we were great first half. Second half as ever our fitness totally dropped off. It was like watching 2 different wolves teams today.

    Cardiff vs Swansea
Last bet of the day for me heads over to the South Wales derby and expecting the referee to have a bust evening. Most of the cards for both teams so far this season have happened in the 2nd half so could well continue today in what should be a close game.
