Saturday’s Football Tips: Bees sting could be fatal for Ten Hag at Old Trafford

The Premier League returns after the international break and Erik ten Hag can't afford another slip-up today when Manchester United host Brentford.

Plenty of top-flight managers would have been looking over their shoulder during the break as it's the perfect time for boards to dig out a P45 and usher in a new man at the helm.

Arsenal have negotiated some tricky away games so far in their Premier League title bid and they have another one this evening with a trip to AFC Bournemouth.

Mikel Arteta's side are looking good as they bid to go one step further than last term but this is a potential banana skin in the first game back after the break.

It has been a mixed bag at home for the Cherries this term, with a win, a draw and a defeat in their three games. Chelsea had to wait until the 86th minute to grab their winner in a game that saw a record 14 yellow cards dished out.

This London derby should be a cracker with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United both boasting plenty of firepower.

Spurs headed into the break on a downer after blowing a 2-0 lead Brighton and that 3-2 loss summed up how fragile they are in defence.

Ange Postecoglou's team usually give the opposition plenty of sniffs at goal so I like the 6/5 on offer at Bet365 for keeper Gugliemo Vicario to make over 2.5 saves.

Going for goals should pay off and combining BTTS with over 3.5 goals pays 49/40 in a bet builder with Betano.

Celtic vs Aberdeen top betting tips

There's a top-of-the-table clash in the SPFL Premiership as Aberdeen's perfect record gets the ultimate test with a trip to champions Celtic.

Only goal difference is keeping the Hoops above Jimmy Thelin's side with both sides boasting 100 per cent domestic records so far.

The Dons have been relentless under their new Swedish manager but the bookies reckon this is a bridge too far, with Betano making them 10/1 outsiders.

That's because Celtic have been blowing teams away, with a 3-0 home win over Rangers a statement of title intent. But the first game back after a break is always tricky and the Hoops had to grind out a 2-0 win over Hearts when they last returned from an international hiatus.
