WE welcome back a full Premier League card after a break and Saturday's big game at teatime is Leicester vs Man City.
As far as the title race is concerned it matters hee-haw but both sides will want to win and keep up hopes of finishing second. It's not an easy one to call but I like the chances of both to score.

Lost unusual lack of goals in Prague
Again 2 matches from oz tomorrow and my focus is mainly on the first one. Both sides go into that match in good form so I can’t pick a winner. Despite the roar boasting 1 of Britain’s best goal scorers as a gaffer, they are incredibly shot shy and only manage just over a goal a game. 4 of their last 5 matches have finished 1-0 so I’m steering clear of goals as well and going for cards/ corners. In those last 5 games I mentioned the roar have managed 4 or more corners 4 times the only blip being away to Sydney. Across those same 5 games the glory have covered the line 4 times as well. 4/6 is just too short for a single for me so I’m adding cards. Both sides have players who aren’t afraid of a challenge so hopefully there will be at least 3.

This game is often a feisty affair. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s 3 or 4 Spurs players booked and 2 or 3 Chelsea.
I mentioned yesterday I fancy Willian to be the key man today and have backed him to score and also in the shots on goal markets.
He will be keen to put on a show today as if he does not get the new deal he wants (which I don’t think he will), Spurs are his preferred destination, so he needs to play well.

One stat that jumped out this morning was the fact Arbroath have scored at least one first half goal in 6 of their last 7 home league games. The one game they didn’t manage to was against Dundee Utd, who currently sit 21 points clear at the top of table.

Evening a3780cd personally I see a number of possible outcomes for the fight but I can’t call a winner. Fury has been working on strength & conditioning a lot in camp hence the weight increase but its a good increase as its pretty much muscle aided by the diet set by his nutritionist. In the first fight Fury was getting through with the jab right hand over and over again but he wasn’t fully committing to them, they were mainly thrown as scoring shots. He was also getting around Wilder’s guard with hooks. This time round when he gets opportunities I think he’ll really be looking to sit down on his shots for maximum power so the possibility of Fury knocking Wilder out is real. Wilder can say that Fury has pillows for fists but simple science dictates that getting hit clean on the temple by a 273 lbs man won’t end well.. Fury is also a very underrated body puncher, he has several KO’s on his record by body punches and can whip those shots into Wilder’s body when on the inside to slow him down or hurt him. The other way Fury wins of course is doing what he usually does; being evasive, awkward, scoring with shots but also avoiding Wilder’s big right hand for 36 minutes. If he can do that then not even the three American judges can deny him.
You could make an argument that Deontay Wilder is the hardest puncher in the entire history of heavyweight boxing. I don’t think there has been anyone who possessed such a destructive and concussive punch that was capable of ending fights instantly. Wilder routinely seems to give away rounds in fights but then closes the show in devastating fashion with his ultimate equalizer. Like he says he only has to be perfect for one second while his opponents have be be perfect for the full 36 minutes. Wilder certainly has his share of critics who question his lack of technique and in the earlier portion of his career he used to be very wild; he’d throw shots and fall of balance, launch big wide right hands and his footwork was always telegraphed (Fury was able to read this in the first fight). He has definitely improved though and its been evident in recent fights. Usually when Wilder looks to throw that big KO right hand he’ll make a shift movement with his feet before launching a range finder jab and the big right follows it but in the Ortiz 2 fight the KO came from a short straight right hand which he didn’t even cock back?! This is the frightening part – it seems Wilder has now refined that right hand shot to such an extent that it now can’t be anticipated and it can arrive from a number of trajectories – that spells TROUBLE for Fury. It goes without saying Wilder can win the fight by KO. Personally I could see Fury coming out steaming in the opening round, he could back Wilder up and while unloading could get knocked out cold if Wilder throws at the same time as him. Wilder can also exploit some of Fury’s weakness like nearly always getting positioned against the ropes in fights. If Wilder and his team have worked on routines in training they could make him pay with a KO. Other possibilities are Fury has a little quirk sometimes of scratching his nose with his glove when he resets, Wilder can read this and counter with the big right hand for a KO and Wilder can win by a TKO if he manages to badly open the cut that required 46 stitches in Fury’s last fight against Otto Wallin. Yeah really routing for Fury tonight. I felt he won the first fight by at least 2 rounds so it’d be justice if he gets to lift the green belt. Hopefully he leans all over Wilder and saps away his energy away. Seems a bit unfair that someone can be so technically deficient but so deadly at the same time lol. Can’t help but admire that level of weaponry though.
