THE final weekend of the Premier League's inaugural Winter break is upon us and Friday night football comes from Molineux as Wolves face Leicester.
Both respective sides are challenging for European places, with Wolves currently in ninth – just four points off fifth – while Leicester lie third and look well on course to qualify for next season's Champions League.
However, the Foxes have faltered in recent weeks, having taken just four points from their last four league outings either side of being dumped out of the Carabao Cup by relegation-threatened Aston Villa.
Indeed, Leicester hold a 10 point advantage over fifth-place Sheffield United, however, Brendan Rodgers will be desperate to halt his sides slide with a view to cementing a place in the top-four.
Leicester will face a stern test on Friday night when coming up against a Wolves side who have racked up a number of eye-catching results against the divisions big hitters in recent times – including back-to back successes against Man City this term.
Yet, since triumphing in a festive thriller with the Citizens, Nuno Espirito Santo's side have gone on to win just one of their subsequent eight matches across all competitions, however, that sample of results included a double-header with Liverpool and three meetings with Man United.
The Betting Odds
Wolves have picked up just four points from their last four league games at home and the hosts are 8/5 with Bet 365 to collect all three points on Friday night.
Leicester have won six of their last eight top-flight road trips and the Foxes are 9/5 with Bet 365 to come out on top here, while a draw- a repeat of the reverse fixture – pays 11/5 with the same firm.

With both of those teams recharged and raring to go I wouldn't be surprised to see a Valentine's Day massacre played out in this Midlands derby.
Granted, both Wolves and Leicester are two of the lowest offenders in the league when it comes to picking up cards, however, I'm expecting an open encounter at Molineux and that could lead to a busy night for card-happy Mike Dean.

19 of Wolves 25 Premier League games this season have seen both teams hit the back of the net and eight of Leicester's last 10 league outings have seen each respective side get on the scoresheet.
What's more, Brendan Rodgers men have made the net bulge in 11 of their 12 league games away from home this season and 10 of the 12 visiting sides to this venue have breached Wolves backline.
In conjunction with that, backing over 2.5 match goals at odds-against of 11/10 with BetVictor also takes appeal in this contest.
Seven of Wolves last 10 Premier League matches at Molineux have seen three or more goals scored and taking this approach would have generated profit in each of Leicester's last eight league games.
With the likes of Adama Traore, Raul Jimenez, James Maddison and Jamie Vardy all on show, among others, goals could be the way to go on Friday night in what should be a full-throttle affair under the lights at Molineux.
