Boyles Hill was very poor at Chepstow.
He won the race off a 1lb higher mark last year, so I was expecting a much better return to hurdles. He was on and off the bridle for the entirety of the race, and the jockey didn't look like she had a clue.
With the recent storms around the UK, we have had both of the jumps meetings abandoned, which has left us with two AW meetings.
I don't like betting at Dundalk, and nothing caught my eye at Kempton, so there will be no tip for Wednesday's racing.
Since taking over a few years ago, this is the first time I've not put up a selection. We've had days where the runners have been non-runners, but I'm not going to force a bet when there's nothing I like the look of.
If you have any fancies, stick them in the comments.
Things to look forward to this week.
The Dublin Racing Festival kicks off on Saturday.
This is the best racing we get before Cheltenham, so I hope it goes ahead, as there are plenty of Grade 1 races to get stuck into.
Ireland is also experiencing some horrendous weather, and from the early images of the tracks, they seem to be struggling with a lot of standing water on the tracks.
If they can get this meeting/festival ahead, full credit to the staff, as it doesn't look great.
