RANGERS reduced the gap at the top of the Premiership table to five points with a convincing midweek win at Hibs.
And they face another potentially tricky away day on Saturday lunchtime against St Mirren in Paisley.
Rangers barely had to move out of second gear in the capital as they cruised past a pitiful Hibs team. They have recovered well from that controversial loss at Parkhead and look certain to battle out a title race to the end with the current champions.
For St Mirren, they started the season like a house on fire, but have dipped in form and are ten points behind third placed Hearts. However, they would be delighted with a top six finish and still harbour hopes of sneaking into Europe for what would be the first time in 37 years.
They have an excellent home record though and have made Paisley something of a fortress with their only defeats coming from Celtic, Rangers – where they had a man sent off on both occasions – and high-flying Kilmarnock.
They've only won one home game in the league since the end of November though and don't tend to score a lot of goals.

Players to watch
St Mirren have struggled to get a prolific scorer this season and new loan signing from Celtic Kwon Hyeok-kyu got plenty of plaudits last week in his debut against Queen of the South in the Scottosh Cup. The South Korean star is 12/1 to score anytime with bet365.
Cyriel Dessers came on as a sub in Leith and made an almost immediate impact with a goal. He may well be given a start in Renfrewshire and is 6/4 to score anytime with Boylesports.
