IT'S flag day at Ibrox and Rangers will want to mark the occasion with a win against in-form Motherwell on Sunday.
Steven Gerrard's side will be presented with the title flag for last season's triumph ahead of the match against Graham Alexander's side. However, they will be wary of the Lanarkshire side who have turned the corner recently.
Rangers were in midweek Europa League action against Lyon. They were well beaten and looked very flat, albeit against quality opposition.
There were concerns among Well fans after a disjointed start to the season where goals were a problem. But three league wins in a row in the Premiership is a fine achievement for any club and they've won at Livingston and defeated Dundee and Aberdeen at Fir Park.
Those wins appear to have come by soaking up a fair amount of pressure and not being too concerned about possession. They've been clinical in front of goal though and will approach this game full of belief.
Rangers have come through a choppy period and an Old Firm win and a come-from-behind victory in Perth have helped, but they are a long way from firing on all cylinders yet.
How the bookies view it
Rangers are 3/10 with McBookie.com, which will be the bedrock of many punters' accas. Motherwell are a massive 25/2 with SBK and the draw is 19/4 with 10Bet.
Recent head to heads
Motherwell were one of the few sides to stop Rangers last season and they grabbed a point at Fir Park in the last meeting in a 1-1 draw as seen below.
Previously, Rangers have won the last six meetings.
Players to watch
Kemar Roofe scored last week and seems to be on the penalties now. Where Rangers are concerned, it's a sensible approach to be on their takers. The 59/50 with Unibet for him to score anytime appeals.
Kevin van Veen has proved to be a real hit for Well and netted last week in their win against Aberdeen. Motherwell's No.9 is 7/2 to score his third goal of the season with McBookie.com.
Anything else catch the eye?
Rangers could be flat after their Europa League efforts against Lyon and Motherwell will have a go here at least. They should be able to cover a two-goal handicap at Ibrox at 10/11 with Boyle Sports.
Motherwell seem comfortable surrendering possession and that should lead to a heap of Rangers corners. Well managed just one at home last week to Aberdeen and Rangers usually pile them on. They are 21/20 minus four on the corners count with bet365.
