The UEFA Champions League has turned into a nightmare for RB Leipzig this season and if they crash to another defeat against Inter Milan at the San Siro their hopes of reaching the knockout stages will already be dead in the water.
The Bundesliga outfit have reached the last 16 in the last two seasons but a repeat looks unlikely this term after kicking off the revamped tournament with four successive defeats.
While losing to the likes of Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Juventus wasn't a major surprise, few people expected Marco Rose's side to be outclassed at Celtic Park. But our man Mark was one of those who did fancy the Hoops and two of his bets came up in their 3-1 victory.
Their domestic form has also been affected, with the 4-3 weekend loss to Hoffenheim making it four games without a win in all competitions.
While the European campaign has been a disaster for RB Leipzig, things have been ticking along nicely for Inter Milan and they sit fifth in the 36-team table after going unbeaten,
Simone Inzagi's men signalled their intent with a surprise 0-0 draw at Manchester City on matchday one, busting the coupon of Slips Tips and countless other punters.
Inter have followed that up with wins over Red Star Belgrade, Young Boys and Arsenal so they will be targeting another three points to stay in course for automatic qualification to the last 16.
How the bookies view it: More misery for RB Leipzig
With Rose's side in such poor form, they are outsiders for this one at 11/2 with Betano. Inter Milan are 4/9 favourites and the draw pays 7/2.
Head to head: First-time foes
These sides have never faced off before in Europe but RB Leipzig have a decent record against Italian opposition. They've won two and lost two of their five clashes, although the latest encounter ended in a 3-2 defeat against 10-man Juventus earlier this season.
Players to watch: Out to make his Marc
Frenchman Marcus Thuram should start up front for Inter Milan and he has been in decent form this season, with a weekend double in the rout of Verona taking his tally to 10 for the season. The target man is 11/10 at Bet365 to add to his tally here.
Benjamin Sesko's goals have been one of the few rays of light for RB Leipzig in the Champions League this season. The Slovenian has netted three times already and looks a little overpriced at 10/3 with Bet365 to grab another goal.
Probable line-ups
Inter Milan are sweating on the fitness of Hakan Calhanoglu after the midfielder picked up a thigh injury on international duty with Turkey. Francesco Acerbi is also set to miss out after going off early on in the weekend win over Verona.
RB Leipzig have a longer injury list, with El Chadaille Bitshiabu, Yussuf Poulsen, Eljif Elmas, Xavi Simons, David Raum and Xaver Schlager still sidelined.
Inter Milan: Sommer, Dumfries, De Vrij, Pavard, Bisseck, Zielinski, Frattesi, Mkhitaryan, Darmian, Thuram, Martinez.
RB Leipzig: Gulacsi, Geertruida, Orban, Klostermann, Henrichs, Nusa, Haidara, Baumgartner, Kampl, Openda, Sesko.
Anything else catch the eye?
RB Leipzig need a win to keep their Champions League hopes alive so this should be a decent watch. BTTS pays just 4/6 with Betano but if you add on over 2.5 goals it boosts the odds to 19/20 in a bet builder.
It's hard finding value with Inter Milan such heavy favourites but combining the home win with BTTS pays a decent 9/5 with Betano.
We saw 15 corners when Leipzig lost to Celtic, with eight of them going to the Germans. That makes me think over 10.5 flag kicks looks good here at 13/10 with Unibet while Leipzig -2 appeals in the corner handicap at 23/20 with the same firm.
