BOTH FC Porto and AC Millan will be looking to land their maiden Champions League win of the season when the pair do battle at Estadio do Dragao on Tuesday night.
Sergio Conceicao's side sit third in the section with a solitary point, one place above their Serie A opponents who have yet to get off the mark in Group B.
Porto picked up their aforementioned point in a fiery stalemate with Atletico Madrid but they were brought back down to earth with a bump in a 5-1 loss against Liverpool last time out.
However, that setback marked the Dragons' only defeat this season to date and they will have earmarked this fixture with AC Milan as one where three points are crucial if they are to qualify from the group.
The Rossoneri, the second-most successful team in the history of the competition, marked their return to Europe's top table in a thrilling 3-2 loss at Liverpool before suffering heartbreak in a last-gasp 2-1 defeat at home to Atletico Madrid.
That said, Stefano Pioli's side remain unbeaten in Serie A this term after staging a stunning second-half comeback to beat Hellas Verona on Saturday night, helping our man Jamie Kennedy hit the jackpot.
Outright Betting
The bookies are finding it hard to separate the teams with Porto narrow favourites at 8/5 (SBK) while another draw is priced up at 5/2 with the same firm.
AC Milan failed to beat Porto when the two sides last shared a section back in 2003 and the Italian giants are slight outsiders here at 9/5 with SBK.
Betting Angles
This looks like a difficult fixture to assess so I'm going to steer clear of the 1×2 market and instead combine both teams to score and each team to receive a card, an eye-catching even-money (1/1) play at Bet 365.
Goalmouth action has been a recurring theme in AC Milan matches in recent seasons, with both teams obliging in seven of the San Siro sides' last eight matches across all competitions.
That sample includes three fixtures that finished with a scoreline of 3-2, demonstrating that the Milanese guests are capable in attack but far from watertight at the back.
Porto, on the other hand, have seen BTTS bank in three of their last four matches and given that both sides will likely have to win here to have any chance of qualifying for the last-16, an entertaining encounter could be in the offing in Portugal.
