MONDAY night football comes from the Amex Stadium as Brighton play host to south-coast neighbours Southampton.
Graham Potter's possession-based style of play has earned the Seagulls plenty of plaudits and it's certainly starting to bear fruit.
Brighton bagged a morale-boosting 2-1 win away at Aston Villa a fortnight ago and they followed that victory up with a well-deserved 1-1 draw at home to Liverpool last time out.
Potter and Co will be keen to keep the momentum flowing when Southampton make the short trip east to the Amex on Monday night.
The Saints were in the midst of an eye-catching seven-game unbeaten run before squandering a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 to Manchester United last Sunday.
However, Ralph Hasenhuttl's troops have avoided defeat in each of their last four top-flight road trips and they will be desperate to bounce back after self-destructing at St Mary's last weekend.
Outright Betting
Brighton are still searching for their first home win of the season and a Seagulls success on Monday night pays 29/20 with William Hill.
Southampton have emerged victorious in each of their last three visits to this venue and another Saints triumph here is trading at 23/10 with BoyleSports, while a point apiece is priced up at 12/5 with Bet 365.
Betting Angles
One of my two recommended Bet Builder landed during Southampton's 3-2 capitulation at home to Man United and I like the look of siding with a similar betting angle at the Amex on Monday night.
The 20/23 (Bet 365) combination that I like the look of when making use of the Bet 365 Bet Builder feature is over one match goal and each team to collect at least one card.
Seven of the Saints opening 10 league assignments have produced two or more goals and Hasenhuttl's charges have chalked up two or more strikes in six of their last seven league matches.
What's more, nine of Brighton's first 10 fixtures of the campaign have featured two or more goals, and six of the games from that sample have generated three or more strikes.
With that in mind, I'm more than happy to add over one match goal to the recommended Bet Builder, but I'll also back both teams to pick up a booking in what tends to be a competitive match-up.
It's also worth noting that the above-mentioned Bet Builder has banked in three of Brighton's last four matches and that only adds to the appeal of siding with the same formula on Monday night.
That line of thought is also going to see me delve into the both teams to score market and back both sides to get on the scoreboard at 4/5 with Betway.
Both teams have obliged in eight of Brighton's 10 top-flight tussles this term and it's a combination that has clicked in each of the Saints last three league games away from St Mary's.
