Borussia Dortmund will be looking to maintain the pressure on leaders Bayern Munich as they host Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday in the German Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich’s surprise defeat at Bochum last time out has rekindled hopes of a closer title race in the Bundesliga this season. Borussia Dortmund head into this weekend just six points behind the champions and will be looking to maintain that pressure.
Dortmund suffered a 4-2 home defeat to Rangers in the Europa League on Thursday but things are much different in the Bundesliga. They have won four of their last five league matches and triumphed 3-0 at Union Berlin last time out.
The victory at Union Berlin will be particularly pleasing to manager Marco Rose as Dortmund showed they can cope without injured top scorer Erling Haaland. Captain Marco Reus was the star of the show for Dortmund as he netted a first half brace.

Aside the impressive showing at Bayern Munich, Monchengladbach have generally struggled on their travels this season. They have claimed just one win in their last seven away matches in the Bundesliga.
