BRAZIL boosted their hopes of making it through with a late, late show against Costa Rica and Argentina were given a lifeline by Nigeria beating Iceland.
Lionel Messi's flops must beat Nigeria and hope it's enough and they are back to being odds on to qualify at 8-11 with Paddy Power. Nigeria are 2-1 at McBookie and Iceland 7-1 with Paddy Power – and there's every chance Croatia will rest players having already qualified.
Argentina don't inspire confidence and going by what I've seen I wouldn't back them to see off an African side that played well yesterday. Of course if unpopular coach Jorge Sampaoli leaves before the game that could be a different story.
On Saturday first up it's Belgium v Tunisia and the favourites are a short price here.
Later we have Mexico against South Korea and you have to fancy the Central Americans who were so impressive in beating world champions Germany.
Talking of Germany they have to recover their chances of qualifying against Sweden and the evening game should be a belter.

I’m taking a late night flit to Barbados armed with a glass of rum and a big fat cigar…I’ve a hunch there could be goals in this one.
Funny old set-up in Barbados with the top-flight being split into zones; Zone 1 and Zone 2 – from memory, each team plays 2 games against their own zone and 1 game against the other…tonight sees a game from the latter round of games and features two of the poorest form teams.
Rendezvous head into this one a big price for the win and have won and drawn just 1 game in their last 7 – not great but to be fair, it’s marginally better form than Notre Dame who head into this one hot favourites having lost 5 back to back matches.
