Arsenal strolled it in their Premier League opener but should face a stiffer test tonight as they travel to Birmingham to face Aston Villa.
The champions eased to a 3-0 win against Coventry City as they kicked off their title defence and also beat Manchester City by the same score in the Community Shield.
Aston Villa, on the other hand, crashed 4-0 at Brighton last weekend after losing 2-1 to PSG in the UEFA Super Cup but Unai Emery will be demanding a response back on home turf.
Aston Villa vs Arsenal top betting tips
Villa have responded to their Brighton battering by making some overdue reinforcements, landing Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson and Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka.
That should make them more competitive against the Gunners but Bet365 still make Mikel Arteta's side 1/2 hot favourites tonight.
That's probably because Villa defended so poorly at Brighton, with Ezri Konsa's departure for Arsenal making them noticeably weaker at the back.
They're even shorter of bodies in midfield and Goretzka should be thrown in for a debut with Joao Gomes suspended.
It's a baptism of fire for the German and he will need Boubacar Kamara to help him out. The Frenchman should anchor Villa's midfield and looks good at 6/4 for over 1.5 fouls.
Jackson should be thrown in up front for a debut and he also looks good value at evens with Bet365 just to have an effort on target.
Barcelona vs Rayo Vallecano
Barcelona have flown out the traps in La Liga and should make it three wins from three when they host Rayo Vallecano tonight.
The champions romped to a 5-0 victory at Elche in their opener then followed it up with a 2-0 Nou Camp win over Athletic Bilbao.
Hansi Flick's side are looking pretty formidable already and now face a Rayo Vallecano who have banked just a point from their first two fixtures.
Bet365 make last season's Conference League finalists 14/1 outsiders in Catalonia, with Barca 1/7 jollies.
At those prices it's hard finding value so it's best looking to the player market for your bets tonight.
Anthony Gordon chipped in with two assists on his Barcelona debut against Elche and the former Newcastle winger is 7/4 to set up another goal tonight.
Lecce vs Roma
Roma are another team who made a flying start in their first game of the season, thrashing Fiorentina 4-0 in Serie A.
They now travel to Lecce looking to build on that thumping win and Bet365 make them 12/25 hot favourites away from home.
Lecce lost 2-0 to Palermo in the Italian Cup to start their campaign on a downer but responded with an excellent 2-0 win away to Venezia in Serie A.
They had a poor record against Roma last term, losing both games to nil, and combining the away win with a clean sheet tonight pays 6/5 at Bet365.
Donyell Malen was Roma's hero last Monday as he scored a hat-trick in that rout of Fiorentina. The Dutchman's tail will be up and he's 5/6 for another goal tonight.

When betting on my in-play tips, simply set yourself a maximum amount that you are willing to stake on each bet. 4) When I post my in-play tip, I would advise to keep staking as the odds get better every single time. When you stake, it what odds you wish to place your additional bets is up to you. It’s whatever you feel.
5) The idea behind this strategy is that once the goal is scored, you don’t just win 1 bet. You win them all at different odds. The later the goal, the better returns. You will only require 1 or 2 massive odds winners to ensure you are consistently in profit every single day.
6) If the in-play losses, you only lose your maximum amount which you set off with in the first place (e.g) – £20.
7) One golden rule of mine – If there is an early goal, the worst mistake you can make is to get greedy and start betting on OVER 1.5 first half goals etc or whatever it may be hoping for another goal. WIN & move on is what I would advise.

Not quite sure where you think I’m not following my own advice, read my staking plan carefully. I have not posted a in-play tip today where there has been a first half goal, and I’ve advised to get on another goal in the same match in the first half. Like I said, read my staking plan carefully it’s not hard to understand. Will refrain from responding to you also moving forward. Oh, and one more thing follow if you wish, don’t follow if you feel that you don’t want 2!
Just to clarify, the Japan U20 match currently in-play (I didn’t advise over 0.5 first half goals). My tip is OVER 1.5 first half goals after there was already a first half goal in the first half.
Not following my GOLDEN RULE would be where I advised a goal to be scored in the first half, it wins and then I advise OVER 1.5 first half goals again. It’s not difficult to understand, it really isn’t.

I think with Villa shifting on their best players logic would tell us Arsenal covering a -1 Asian handicap should trap, but this is the Premier League and that’s where all logic goes out the window. So if you start with £20 , how will you know how many bets to make before half time, so you know how much to put on the first bet.

Again not difficult to understand. The odds quoted are the odds which were available in-play. It’s up to each individual what odds they place there bets, and also what amount. My example above is what I did personally myself with £20, and simply divided this £20 into 4 stakes. You may wish to do 20 £1, bets….This is not something I would be able to advise, but simply follow the staking plan.

You will never know how many bets it will take mate before the goal. This is an example of how the staking plan works, and personally I stake around 12th min, 20th min, 30min and 40+ mins. Again there is no such given time and amount of when you should stake, but whatever takes your fancy and depending on what odds you wish to grab hold off prior to a goal being scored.
Many people have messaged me stating they stake right at the start, then lower there stakes towards the end of the first half for example. If there is an early goal, they will sit out and wait for my next in-play tip.
In short…The longer the time of a first half goal for example the better. Like me, you may wish to set your own rules where you will stake at the very start, then only stake 3 more times at specific odds when they become available.
At the end of the day….The main thing is that you simply stick to the total amount you allocate towards each tip and divide this up.

The staking plan is very clear and great for those who wish to stay disciplined whilst betting, so not sure what you are on about. Will leave it at that, seriously read my staking plan in detail it really isn’t difficult to understand it really isn’t.

Depends which bookmaker your with. All depends on your KYC and source of funds and verification. Won’t get into explaining this just google it if you know what google is.
