After a weekend of FA Cup shocks will we see another one tonight? Will Man Utd knock Aston Villa out of the cup? ?
Arsenal got what they deserved at the City Ground. Nothing. While Liverpool and Spurs had to come from behind to secure a place in the fourth round, the draw for which took place on Sunday.
Five Premier League teams have already been knocked out the competition and another will be added to list this evening.
It's been five years since Manchester United won some silverware, their longest drought since the 80s – so there's no underestimating the task at hand for Ralf Rangnick.
United were awful against Wolves last Monday evening, could hardly string two passes together, and looked like a team without and shape or identity so Rangnick needs to turn things around, and fast, before the volume of those already questioning his appointment grows louder.
A good run in the FA Cup would help alleviate the pressure and with Middlesbrough at home, the prize for tonight's victor, there's a promising route to the last 16.
But no-one would love to put another spanner in the United works more than Steven Gerrard. The Liverpool legend takes his Villa side to Old Trafford as 4/1 underdogs.
Since his appointment Gerrard has had mixed results. There's no shame in losing to Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City but defeat last time out to Brentford was the first real bump in the road.
Both managers look likely to field strong line-ups although new signing Philippe Coutinho looks unlikey to make it for Villa.
Villa left Old Trafford with all three points in September and if you saw United v Wolves you'd think 4/1 looked too big on them winning again. But Rangnick will surely get a response from his United side so this one could go the distance with the draw priced at 3/1.

Elche drew 0-0 v Osasuna last Sunday but before that had witnessed 4/4 on both teams scoring, including away goals at both Barcelona and Valencia.
H2H wise, from what I can see, these teams have played each other six times since the turn of the century and all six games have had both sides scoring.
Going with that I think I’d say evens is a great price after taking everything into account, over 2.5 match goals is around 6/5 at the moment also but I’m happy to stick with both sides scoring.

Espanol could be without three players as Joan Garcia and Fernando Calero both tested positive for COVID-19. David Lopez could be available following a knee injury.
Elche’s list of potential absentees is longer. A COVID-19 outbreak has six players likely to miss the game. Lucas Perez, Enzo Roco, Boye, Ivan Marcone, Raul Guti, and Benedetto all tested positive and will likely miss the match.
Espanyol have far fewer issues going into the game with Elche. Thanks to their form and the lack of positive COVID-19 cases, Espanyol should claim a second straight La Liga win.

This AFCON tournament must be the worst in world football.
Games played at a snail’s pace, on dry bobbly pitches, majority of players represent lower league teams, ‘better’ players mostly bench warmers at their clubs, and the ‘superstars’ are made to look average by their teammates.
