Welcome back to MFT’s 10-1,000 betting challenge, where we aim for a 100x return on the original investment via a small stake betting strategy, prioritising low risk and low odds en route to a long-term target.

While this column is dedicated to high-probability tips, there is no guarantee of profit. If playing along, you should consider your own budget and confidence in the tip provided, and make your own decision whether to follow, cash out or continue at every stage. 18+, please gamble responsibly.

We will use a unit system for our stakes, allowing readers to set their own unit value that suits their own budget. For the sake of simplicity, for us, 1 unit = £1.

We will continue to transparently track our progress as far as we go on the path to 1,000, but will refresh our main tracking stake back to the starting point every time we surpass 100 units – a 10x ROI.

For the sake of consistency, all tips are placed using odds from bet365. It worth pointing out that with Bet365 we can paid out if our selection goes into a lead by two or more goals.

Chicago and Orlando drew 2-2 in the early hours of Thursday morning meaning bet two was a winner. This time move to Portugal on Friday night.

Bet 3 – Casa Pia vs Sporting – Friday 30th October at 20:15

Sporting Lisbon travel to Casa Pia on Friday looking to strengthen their position near the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga. The visitors have been particularly reliable in front of goal this season, while their unbeaten away record provides further encouragement for a selection that requires Sporting to score at least once and avoid defeat.

Sporting sit third in the table with 18 points from nine matches, having recorded five wins, three draws and just one defeat. Their away record is even more encouraging, with two victories and two draws from four league trips, meaning they have yet to lose on their travels.

Crucially, Sporting have scored in all nine league fixtures, accumulating 21 goals at an average of 2.33 per match. They have also found the net in every away game, scoring ten goals across those four fixtures.

Their underlying attacking statistics support that consistency. Sporting average 1.86 xG, 13.50 shots, 5.75 shots on target and 3.50 big chances per away match, demonstrating their ability to create regular opportunities in dangerous areas.

Casa Pia's home performances provide another compelling argument. The hosts have lost all four league matches on their own ground, conceding 13 goals and scoring just once. Their defensive record includes a 7-0 defeat and a 4-1 loss, highlighting the difficulties they have experienced against stronger attacking opposition.

The contrast in attacking quality is substantial. Casa Pia average only 0.73 xG at home, while Sporting's away defence allows 0.86 xGA per match. That gives the visitors a strong statistical foundation for avoiding defeat, even if the contest proves tighter than expected.

Sporting's ability to score consistently, combined with their unbeaten away record and Casa Pia's defensive struggles, makes Sporting to score and double chance at 1/9  an appealing selection. Both conditions must be satisfied, but the visitors' performances at both ends of the pitch provide convincing support for the combination.

  • Bet: Casa Pia no clean sheet & Sporting double chance
  • Odds: 1/9
  • Bank: 15.58 units returns 17.29
