Welcome back to MFT’s 10-1,000 betting challenge, where we aim for a 100x return on the original investment via a small stake betting strategy, prioritising low risk and low odds en route to a long-term target.

While this column is dedicated to high-probability tips, there is no guarantee of profit. If playing along, you should consider your own budget and confidence in the tip provided, and make your own decision whether to follow, cash out or continue at every stage. 18+, please gamble responsibly.

We will use a unit system for our stakes, allowing readers to set their own unit value that suits their own budget. For the sake of simplicity, for us, 1 unit = £1.

We will continue to transparently track our progress as far as we go on the path to 1,000, but will refresh our main tracking stake back to the starting point every time we surpass 100 units – a 10x ROI.

For the sake of consistency, all tips are placed using odds from bet365. It worth pointing out that with Bet365 we can paid out if our selection goes into a lead by two or more goals.

Watford scored in injury time to keep the run going, but it should have not got to that stage of the game with only one goal. A total of 4.03 xG, 36 shots with 13 on target suggests there should have been more than two goals.

Bet 6 – Brighton vs Crystal Palace – Sunday 18th at 14:00

Brighton welcome Crystal Palace to the Amex Stadium on Sunday  with the recent disciplinary history between these rivals providing a strong argument for both teams receiving at least one card.

The head-to-head record is particularly encouraging. Both teams have received a yellow card in each of their last eight Premier League meetings, including the two fixtures played during the 2025/26 season.

Their most recent encounter in February produced four yellow cards, with Brighton receiving one and Palace three. The reverse fixture in November also saw both teams cautioned, with Palace collecting one yellow card and Brighton four.

Across the 19 meetings in the supplied head-to-head data, both teams have received at least one yellow card on 15 occasions.

This season's disciplinary statistics also support the selection. Brighton and Palace have each received at least one card in five of their opening six Premier League matches.

Brighton's home record is particularly encouraging, with both teams receiving a card in all three fixtures at the Amex. Palace's away record is less convincing, with both sides carded in only one of their three matches.

Referee Robert Jones has shown cards to both teams in two of his three Premier League appointments this season, although he did oversee a meeting between these clubs in January 2022 when Brighton received no yellow cards.

The combination of recent head-to-head consistency, Brighton's home disciplinary record and both teams' tendency to collect bookings makes both teams to receive at least one card at 1/4 an appealing selection for this low-odds bet.
