IN searching for topics for my Masterclass Series I've researched a lot of systems that various experts and punters abide by. This particular system has caught my eye, simply because the numbers appear to add up and you can try it with small stakes for a pretty big return.

This betting system relies on the fact that somewhere between 40% – 50% of matches result in a home win (see table below) and that the same percentage of games are level at half-time (in the Premier League in the last three seasons 40%, 44% & 45% of matches were draws at half-time respectively).

By combining both stats there's potential to create a permed Half Time / Full Time bet that could pay dividends.

In the Half Time / Full Time market there are 9 possible outcomes, but if we focus on the Draw / Home Win selection we'll usually get odds around the 4-1 mark, which creates a potentially profitable option.

How does the system work?

Pick four games with Home Win odds between 1-2 and Evens. These type of matches usually result in odds of between 3-1 and 5-1 on the Draw / Home Win market.

Perm as follows;

  • four single bets with 20 units staked on each
  • six doubles with 15 units staked on each
  • four trebles with 10 units staked on each
  • a 4-fold with a 5 unit stake.

Based on average 4-1 selection your total stake is therefore 215 units and your return will be;

  • with one correct bet a little less than half of our stake
  • with two correct bets 575 units
  • with three correct bets 2675 units
  • and if we get all four right we will get massive 10775 units.

The stats suggest that two and three correct should be achievable on a regular basis. Pick the games carefully and as always, be disciplined.

Let me know if you give this system a go or if you've tried this or similar systems in the past.
