HOLLAND set the tone for a World Cup full of bangs and shocks when they trounced Spain on day two.
The Dutch set down a marker with their 5-1 romp but failed to match that display when given a scare by Australia before winning 3-2.
By their third match with Chile both were through so it wasn't a game to judge either side.
Robin van Persie missed that game through suspension but will be back to partner Arjen Robben up front tomorrow and the pairing could prove too hot for Mexico.
The Mexicans shut out Brazil as they finished second in Group A but Brazil don't have a double act up front – just Neymar.
Holland are 11-10 favourites with bet365 to win in 90 minutes and I reckon they'll do it. Mexico are 29-10 with McBookie and the draw pays 5-2 at bet365.
I'll be on van Persie at 5-1 with Paddy Power to score first and Robben at 2-1 with Paddy Power to net at any time.
Oribe Peralta will provide Mexico's biggest threat and is 13-5 at 888sport to net.

had james rodrigues and 2-1 columbia last night as though uruguay would score.Tough one to call tonight score wise but agree with dutchie dont think mexico will get a goal. been following mr fix its tips ( as much as the bank allows ) since the tail end of the domestic season and have to say kicked myself a few times for not following the tips then they come in. anyone have any general tips on betting as i seem to be just hitting the bar and missing out by the slightest of margins. 1st time poster so go easy :)

I’ve waited as long as I can for up to date weather updates and the verdict is to avoid Holland. 30 degrees – stinking hot. No way am I touching the Dutch with conditions like that. Got to fancy the Mexicans today. I quite fancy BTTS still and I can possibly see this going to extra time. Maybe 1-1 in 90mins and then Mexico to have the extra know how of the weather in extra time.
Mexico had the extra legs against Croatia in the last 15mins of that one and it could be the same again.
