Poor weather conditions resulted in the meeting at Plumpton being called off on Monday. It's always frustrating when you pick a horse at a meeting that ends up being called off, but the safety of horses and jockeys is the most important thing.

From The Ashes 7/4 – Catterick 4.30
My sole selection on Tuesday comes from the meeting at Catterick. I've opted to go with the Irish raider From The Ashes, who hails from the Charles Brynes yard. When the Irish send their horses across the water, they normally mean business, and trainer Charles Brynes tends to fall into that category, judging by his past exploits.
The last time we saw my selection, he finished in third place at Windsor over 3m4f, competing in a race that appeared more competitive than the one he faces on Tuesday. That particular performance marked a considerable improvement from his previous outings following his return from a break last October.
Furthermore, the form from his previous race has worked out well, as Art Decco, who finished fifth, recently boosted the form when landing a competitive Class 3 race at Exeter last week.
From The Ashes is set to drop down in distance for this contest, a change unlikely to cause any issues given his proven ability to handle longer trips.
Moreover, the track itself will suit my selection, being on the sharper side of racecourses in the UK. I am hopeful that jockey Philip Brynes will opt for an aggressive ride on From The Ashes, as he may prove a hard nut to crack if able to establish a rhythm from the front.
From the ashes won’t win i million percent guarantee it ! I’ll tell you why later
Great Dazzman…you really do need know that it won’t? An it better not be after the race?
