I had some internet issues today, so I apologize in advance for the late post.
I can't comment on how my selections performed due to my earlier internet problems, but the results show we only achieved one placing, so we'll consider this a disappointing day and go again for Tuesday's racing.
Attacanter Racing Tips
Lady Celia 8/1 EW 4 places – 18.30 Newcastle
Lady Celia was overlooked when a NR recently and she gets a chance here at a price she is capable of outrunning.
She beat both market leaders here at the recent Racing League meeting and they meet again here on similar terms. They may well be open to improvement, especially Juicy but we have a better draw this time and can make our presence felt once again.
Little Keilee 10/1 EW 4 places – 17.45 Galway
Kinda Tiny would have been chanced if double the price so instead we'll opt for the Ciaran Murphy trained runner who has Billy Lee booked.
The horse was 5th of 15 last time off a 3-month break, she placed when Kinda Tiny was winning over C&D last year. A 9lbs pull at the weights helps, the price is accurate enough, he is, however, 3lbs below his last win and is likable enough.
Puella Law 16/1 EW 4 places – 19.30 Newcastle
Puella Law is a chancy selection, even more so when you look at the race card. With a good few at the top of the market all worthy of inclusion given their price, I am still happy to seek a bigger price and include the John Quinn Filly.
The horse was 3rd here at the end of last season, she's been below form the last twice, having spent her summer mainly campaigned at Beverley, she put in some consistent runs, winning off today's mark, if aided by the first time cheekpieces she might be able to have a say.
Whisper A Prayer 9/1 EW 4 places – 16.35 Galway
At the prices I think we can take a chance on this given the calibre of horse it was tried against as a two-year-old.
The one I was going to make a case for Nan's View was only likely to place so given the acceptable 3rd last time I am willing to take the chance on the Joseph O'Brien runner.
*Advised Bet – Eachway L15*
WHAT IS A LUCKY 15 BET?
A Lucky 15 bet consists of 15 unique bets, covering every possible combination that comes from backing four selections. The 15 bets are broken down like this:
– 1 fourfold accumulator
– 4 trebles, with each treble omitting one of your selections
– 6 doubles, again covering every possible combination
– 4 singles
The attraction of a Lucky 15 is that it offers many more ways to win than a standard accumulator. A Lucky 15 uses both your acca and your singles as well as producing trebles and doubles that reward you for correctly calling 2/4 or 3/4 of your selections. To cover the 15 separate bets, a Lucky 15 uses your stake 15 times. If you were to place £1 on a Lucky 15, you would be staking £15 in total across the various bets.
Celtic John 5.35 Ling. Looks over priced @ 40s ew top 3. Worth a small wager
