Houston Rockets to win with handicap (3.5)
The two teams enter this game after losing their last one, but the Warriors have lost five in a row, while the Rockets have won three in a row before they fell to the Kings a couple of nights ago.
Furthermore, the Rockets have taken over the Warriors who were the second seed in the West for a while, so they have won more games overall as well. Lastly, Golden State will miss both Curry and Green for this game and that's another reason why my first Warriors vs Rockets tips is for the Nuggets to win the game by six or more points.
Over 219 total points
If we look at the recent H2H duels between these teams, we can see that their last three meetings have all gone over 219 total points and while the Warriors will struggle a bit to score without Curry on the court, I still see them contributing enough points for this game to go over that line.
Furthermore, the Rockets have played in games that have gone over this line four times in a row, so over 219 total points is the second of my Warriors vs Rockets tips for this evening.
Alperen Sengun to record a triple-double
The last of my Warriors vs Rockets picks is for Alperen Sengun to record a triple-double. The young Turkish center is of a similar mold as Nikola Jokic, although obviously not really at his level yet.
Still, at the odds of 13/2, I feel it's worth taking a punt at Sengun recording a triple-double, which he's already done three times this season. In fact, all three of his triple-doubles came in the last 10 games and he was left short by one assist for his fourth a couple of games ago. All that considered, I think it's worth backing up Sengun do deliver a triple-double against the Warriors.
Warriors vs Rockets preview – teams news, injuries, and predicted lineups
Golden State Warriors preview and latest news
After a fantastic start of the season, the Warriors have hit a wall recently and they enter this game on a streak of four losses in a row. That being said, the Warriors also had a tough schedule recently and were missing Curry in some of those game, so it's not that surprising that they've struggled in these games.
When it comes to team news, De'Anthony Melton is out for the season, while the Warriors will also have to manage without Dreymond Green and Steph Curry in this game.
The Warriors enter this game with a 12-8 record.
Warriors starting lineup: Podziemski, Moody, Wiggins, Kuminga, Looney
Houston Rockets preview and latest news
The young Rockets team have played some great basketball this season and they're currently the second seed in the Western Conference, only behind the Thunder, who they beat a few nights ago. Houston might not be a championship contender in minds of many, but they have plenty of quality and given how young their core is, they'll only get better with time.
Meanwhile, the only two players on Houston's injury list at the moment are Tari Eason and Fred VanVleet, but the former is listed as a game-time decision and likely to play.
The Rockets enter this match with a 15-7 record.
Rockets starting lineup: VanVleet, Green, Brooks, Smith Jr, Sengun
