Gents, l hope you had a good summer break and welcome back to the new season! Obviously not much form to go on but I'm using some of last season's results and league cup form to base my picks on.
To Score 2+ Goals Tips
First up are Scottish League One favourites Falkirk at home to promoted Annan. Falkirk scored 2+goals in 5 of their last 6 games last season and are short at 4/9 to score 2+goals but happy to take that price against an Annan side who came up through the playoffs but haven't had the best of starts after losing all 4 league cup games with 12 goals conceded.
Next up are Forfar in Scottish League Two away at Stenhousemuir. Forfar had a decent run in the league cup winning their first 3 games scoring 6 times before crashing out to Premiership side St Mirren.
Stenhousemuir lost 3 of their 4 games and conceded 6 times. I like the 2/1 on Forfar to score 2+ goals to make a 10/3 double.
Both Teams to Score Double
Other goals bets l like the look of are btts double of Northampton vs Stevenage and Morton vs Ayr @ 5/2.
- Northampton and Stevenage were both automatically promoted last season and previous games in League Two finished 2-3 & 1-1,
- All 4 games last season between Morton and Ayr ended with both teams scoring, 2-1,1-1,1-1+1-3.
Over 2.5 Goals Tips
An over 2.5 goals treble of Barnsley, Charlton and Crewe @ 13/2. Barnsley averaged overs at home, Charlton averaged overs at home and Mansfield averaged overs away from home
An Acca of all seven pays 117/1, 0.5pts and an Overs Goals Acca of all seven being overs pays 97/1, 0.5pts.
