Fridays top tips

It's quarter-final time at the Africa Cup of Nations and hosts Morocco will be hoping the crowd can cheer them to victory against Cameroon.

Nerves seemed to get to the Moroccans a little in the last 16 as they edged past Tanzania thanks to a solitary goal from Brahim Diaz.

The Indomitable Lions will present a bigger threat so the hosts will need to up their game if they want to claim a place in the semi-finals.

Cameroon vs Morocco top betting tips

Matches are often cagey when two big teams collide at this stage of tournament so this could be similar to Morocco's last knockout tie.

Cameroon drew 1-1 when they faced holders Ivory Coast in the group stage and have only conceded three goals in their four matches so far.

That makes under 2.5 goals likely tonight but the odds are poor at just 7/12 with Unibet. The half-time draw offers more value at 59/50 with BetMGM.

This match could be fiery with so much at stake and I like the 11/10 at Bet365 for over 4.5 cards.

Mail vs Senegal

The other quarter-final tie at the Africa Cup of Nations tonight sees Mali take on in-form Senegal.

The Senegalese have been looking pretty slick so far and a 3-1 win over Sudan in the last 16 took their tally for the tournament to 10 goals.

Mail could be a tougher nut to crack though as they've only conceded three goals so far, having booked their place in the last eight with a shootout win over Tunisia.

Senegal are 8/13 hot favourites but if you add on under 3.5 goals it boosts their odds to 21/20 at Betway.

Bayern Munich's Nicolas Jackson should lead the line for the favourites and he netted twice in the group stage.

The Chelsea loanee is 6/5 at BetMGM for a goal or assist tonight and that looks decent value.

Wrexham vs Nottingham Forest

There's plenty of FA Cup action tonight and the pick of the ties sees Nottingham Forest travel to Wrexham.

The Holywood fairytale in Wales shows no sign of ending and the Championship side head into this game off the back of four successive wins.

Forest's form is much poorer, with just one win in five, but that victory did come in their last outing against West Ham on Tuesday.

It's a quick turnaround for the Premier League side while Wrexham have been able to rest since beating Derby 2-1 on Sunday.

That increases the chance of a shock so the Welsh side could offer some value in the double chance at evens with Ladbrokes.

Both teams have old school managers and this could be a throwback cup tie with plenty of tackles and corners.

Over 10.5 corners looks good at 13/10 with Coral while backing both teams to pick up two or more cards pays 13/8 at Bet365.

Super singles

  • Over 4.5 cards in Cameroon vs Morocco 11/10 Bet365
  • Nicolas Jackson goal or assist 6/5 BetMGM
  • Over 10.5 corners in Wrexham vs Forest 13/10 Coral

Disappointing performance from the lads. Looked leggy & didn’t create much. As bad as we were, Liverpool still had 0 shots on target. They were ecstatic with the point which just shows where both sides are. Anyways 14 points above them. Mind the gap lads.

Still 6 points above City who have looked shaky lately, but have already started spending big again with Semenyo. Surprise surprise. Carabao cup next week and I’m liking Newcastle in the 1st leg vs City. Taking them to win at 21/10 & also like over 1.5 Newcastle goals at 5/4. City will have to rest players if they can. Their back-up defense is shocking so Newcastle should get some joy for sure. They don’t have the luxury of quality backup like us so they’ll struggle as the games mount up.

If Isak and Ekiteke started it would have been a different story for sure. Yeah I was happy with a point given our situation and the fact we lost a very good player in the summer also. I can see your posting as your team is doing ok but remember who’s the most successful team in the land. We are Champions Arsenal won fook all yet lad.

    F.A Cup Tonight 7.30 Kick off 7.30pm
    Wrexham v Notts Forest
    Btts at 4/5 (NAP)

A shoe in I reckon, looked at the price of Wrexham just to score and it’s only 4/9, took Wrexham to finish in the top 6 this season and they aren’t disappointing thus thus far playing some good stuff. Goals usually feature in Wrexham games and they do like to concede which leads me to believe Btts is over priced.
    Best of luck

Going for an anytime scorer treble – Jayden Stockley (7/4). Oliver Rathbone (11/2). Mikel Oyarzebal (5/2). 69.7/1 with a boost. Boylesports 💸

    • AC1987 16 hours ago

The highest odds selection of the treble was the only one that scored. In hindsight should have done singles. I blame Martinelli😂
