Punters took another kicking on Thursday as this unpredictable season produced yet another night of surprise results.
Burnley's 46-year wait for a win at Anfield ended as they dealt Liverpool's title hopes a hammer blow. Ashley Barnes' 83rd minute penalty was enough to secure a 1-0 win and move Sean Dyche's men up to 16th. The Reds stay in fourth, six points behind Manchester United and looking over their shoulders at Spurs and Everton who both have games in hand on the defending champions.
In Spain, a much-changed Barcelona almost fell victim to yet another Copa Del Rey giant-killing this week, when they were held to a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes at third division Cornellá. Two missed penalties didn't help but they got the job done in extra-time thanks togoals by Dembele and Braithwaite.
Meanwhile Atletico Madrid moved seven points clear the top of La Liga, thanks to a late penalty from Luis Suarez in a 2-1 win at Eibar, landing SlipsTip's 5/6 BetBuilder.
Friday's Betting Tips
FA Cup fourth round weekend kicks-off on Friday with Wolverhampton Wanderers visit to National League North side, Chorley. the Premier League club will be desperate to avoid the same ignominy that befell them back in 1986 when Friday's hosts embarrassed them 3-0 in th first round.

Away at Chorley in the cup tonight. This is a game any die hard wolves fan will have prayed for for many many years but now the time has come i cant help but have some jitters.
Back in 1986 losing to them signified our lowest ebb. Back then the club almost went under with dodgy owners etc. However the wolves legend Steve Bull was in the stand watching this having just signed from the 6 finger lot from sandwell. (Funnily enough we have a new striker hopefully landing next week in Willian Jose so he may be watching on tv)
In theory this should be a comfortable victory. All rumblings from the club suggest we will put a very strong team out.

He is a very good young German midfielder and he is very good on the eye to watch.
Looking at the stats the season in the league, he’s the highest midfield player to have average shots and shots on target per game behind the likes of plea and Thuram.
He avg 1.7 shots per game in the league at home. Paddy power offering 5/6 for 2+ shots and 11/10 for at least 1 shot on target. I fancy the later so will make this my nap.

They’re not the only ones who do that. They’re businesses at the end of the day and when people keep winning on certain teams, if it’s from a more obscure league and not one of the ones where the games generate hundreds of thousands worth of bets, they’re not losing out by pulling it.
Had this problem last year and opened some accounts with different bookies (which is always good for the free bets. I seem to recall Mansion was one that still had the Al Sadd games.

Huge odds here for one goal and it’s not that there is a massive gulf between them.
Csa are 8 points better off than Pelotas and need to win to stay in 4th and a promotion slot with just one game to go after this, and this brings its own pressure.
