When you look at some of the results so far in this world cup, France can be fairly happy that they managed to pickup that all important win in their opener v Australia. It was hardly a vintage performance from the French stars but they got the job done and won despite playing poorly.
Peru I felt were desperately unlucky to have left their match with Denmark with nothing to show. The were by far the better team and should have been ahead on the stroke of have time if it wasn’t for possibly one of the worst penalty kicks you will ever see. I’m certain its still air born and due to touch down somewhere in a Chinese province.
France I suspect will get better and Peru know this is do or die so I it should be quite an open game and having seen the way Peru play, that’s the only way they know.
