THE ball is now firmly in Real Madrid's court at the top of La Liga after Barcelona dropped another two points, this time at home to Atletico Madrid.
Having come from behind to lead 2-1 Barca conceded their second penalty of the match, which was converted at the second attempt by Saul.
But the most significant penalty was Lionel Messi's conversion which saw his net the 700th goal of his incredible career.
Career goal 7⃣0⃣0⃣ for Lionel Messi 🐐

Southern Stroll for United
In the Premier League Manchester United strolled it at Brighton with a comfortable 3-0 win and SlipsTips landed a nice double in his match preview. Under 4 Match Goals & Under 4 Match Cards landed at Evens and more impressive was his advice to back Bruno Fernandes to have two or more shots on target at 6-4 – he scored two of the three goals!
Wednesday's Premier League Card
There's another four Premier League matches on Wednesday and we've got a detailed preview for each of them;
- Arsenal v Norwich Preview & Tips – 6.00pm BT Sport 1
- Bournemouth v Newcastle Preview & Tips – 6.00pm Sky One / Sky Sports Premier League / Pick
- Everton v Leicester City Preview & Tips – 6.00pm Sky Sports Action / Sky Sports Main Event
- West Ham v Chelsea Preview & Tips – 8.15pm Sky Sports Premier League / Sky Sports Main Event
None of the games really whet the appetite and you'll be hard pushed to decide which of the four to watch.
It could be worthwhile for punters to target the half-time draw / 0-0 half-time correct score / no goal before x-minutes markets once again in these four games.
Everton, who have a good home record under Carlo Ancelotti, will attract money at 31-20 against a Leicester side in poor form. The Toffess are unbeaten in eight at home while the Foxes have won just two of their last ten matches and have scored just once in their three matches since the return.
All to Play for in Championship
Leeds United's 1-1 draw at home to struggling Luton would have killed many a bet on Tuesday but Brentford looked a good thing at Reading as they kept up their terrific run of form.
There's another four Championship games tonight including West Brom's visit to Sheffield Wednesday where they have the chance to close the gap on Leeds to just one point at the top of the table.
Live on TV on Wednesday
There's a whole raft of other live games on your TV or streaming including Stabaek v Stromsgodset (5.00pm Eurosport 2), Bologna v Cagliari (6.30pm Premier Sports 2), Inter Milan v Brescia (6.30pm Premier Sports 1), Valencia v Athletic Bilbao (6.30pm LaLiga TV), Rosenborg v Valerenga (7.30pm Eurosport 2), Fiorentina v Sassuolo (8.45 Premier Sports 2), SPAL v AC Milan (8.45 Premier Sports 1), Real Betis v Villarreal (9.00pm LaLigaTV) and Real Valladolid v Levante (9.00pm FreeSports)
