IT was another thrilling day in the Premier League but Jorginho's penalty miss must have had plenty of punters hanging their head in frustration.
While Spurs hit five at Southampton, Brighton breezed in three at Newcastle and Leicester smashed four past Burnley, there was nothing doing for Chelsea who were reduced to 10 men then saw Jorginho blow his chance from 12 yards to give his side hope after falling 2-0 behind.
It wasn't to be then and that miss beat my both to score double that started with Hibs vs Rangers. It also killed Bet 2 of my £10 to £100 challenge and I know I should have gone for the Hibs game instead but the kick-off was a little early so I went with the later one.
Shock defeats for Newcastle and Aberdeen beat my Top Treble and no goals at Real Sociedad vs Real Madrid downed my Euro treble.
I was glued to the final round as two of my four antepost tips Bryson DeChambeau (25-1) and Matthew Wolff (75-1) fought it out for the title. DeChambeau's victory and places for Wolff and Dustin Johnson (15-2) gave me a profit of around for 45pts to level 1pt stakes.
The Caddy's tournament Nap was Louis Oosthuizen to beat Brandon Todd at 10-11 and the South African star did so with a third-place finish. TipperDan also had one winner with big DJ placing.
Well done to all the winners on Sunday and we turn our attention to Monday with two more Premier League games – Wolves vs Man City and Aston Villa vs Sheffield United. Wolves beat City twice last season and face a side minus Sergio Aguero and who have now lost Ilkay Gundogan to illness.
And in the FA Cup we have a match between Hashtag United and Soham Town Rangers that's live on the BBC iPlayer. The Hashtag story is an interesting one, basically a team that started on YouTube and grew a following. This is the Essex side's first FA Cup tie and they are around 2-1 to celebrates with a win.
There were 39 goals in the eight Premier League games at the weekend and in two games that aren't easy to call I'm taking both to score. Two out of the last three meetings between Villa and the Blades have gone over 4.5 goals and Wolves beat Man City 3-2 at home last season.
