I'VE been locked down for longer than most people but I've been released to return to tipping.
I'm not back at work on the Daily Record sports desk yet but have been given the go-ahead by my gaffer to resume writing some columns as I step up my recovery.

I've been putting up some tips in the comments section – the usual mix of winners and losers – but I have to admit I don't enjoy watching football without fans.
Take the Championship play-off final between Fulham and Brentford for example. The richest game was a bit of a damp squib before Joe Bryan netted twice in injury time to book Fulham's return to the Premier League.

Wednesday sees the return of European football that was suspended in March. There are four Europa League last-16 ties – Copenhagen (0) v Istanbul (1), Shakhter Donetsk (2) v Werder Bremen (1) and Man United (5) v LASK (0) are second-leg affairs while Inter v Getafe is a one-off tie in Germany after the first leg was postponed. Our guys have previewed some of the upcoming games.

Obviously United are through and I'd expect them to add to their lead after a strong finish to the season booked a Champions League slot.
Inter finished the season well and are unbeaten in 14, finishing with victory at Atalanta to claim runners-up spot behind Juventus. Getafe are more rested but I'm on Inter to win at a best 4-6 with bet365 and BetVictor.
Copenhagen have done well to reach this stage, beating Celtic on the way, but their run could be over against a strong Istanbul side that's beaten Wolfsberger and Borussia Monchengladbach away. Back the Turks to win or draw at 4-7 with McBookie.
The best game could be Shakhtar vs Wolfsburg with the home side leading 2-1. Wolfsburg won six of their final eight away games in Germany and are much better on the road. Both to score is the call here.

After running a savvy on Sunday it’s been a poor couple of days for me. Hoping to get back in the winners enclosure this morning in oz. After giving corners the big build up last week they’ve been an absolute damp squib. I highlighted 9/11 games had seen at least 4+ each, since then there’s been 3/4 that haven’t. Disappointing but it is what I call a “flaky” market. However that’s not going to dissuade me from going again this morning. I think there’s a lot of value to be had out there. I think Spanish and German clubs may struggle against teams who have featured in more competitive football recently.
One game I can’t understand the pricing for is Shakhtar Donetsk v Wolfsburg.
Granted the Ukrainians are 2-1 up from the first leg but they are currently still playing their season, in good form and face Wolfsburg who haven’t played a competitive game for over a month
19/10 for the home win is simply a price I’ve got to have a nibble at.
I’ll also be taking Inter and Man United to win their games, Man U should win quite comfortably and odds of 4/7 to cover a -1 handicap has to be added to any acca for tonight.
