After making it a remarkable nine winners on the bounce in Canada on Thursday morning, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head back to the Brazilian top flight, and I’ve highlighted one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals at both ends.

Third-placed Flamengo will look to put pressure on the top two in the Brasileirão table as they welcome newly-promoted Criciúma to the Maracanã on Saturday evening in a fixture that appeals to me for goals at both ends.
Flamengo are the joint-highest scorers in the Brazilian top flight, slamming in 28 goals across their opening 16 matches, with 12 (43%) of them coming at their Maracanã base.
Tite’s hosts have only failed to score against the two sides above them in the Brasileirão table – notching on multiple occasions in eight (50%) of them – and will be confident of breaching a Criciúma backline that has registered just two clean sheets this term, shipping multiple goals in four of their previous five road trips.
Cláudio Tencati’s visitors scored 22 goals across their opening 15 matches in the Brazilian top flight this campaign, with 11 (50%) of them coming on their travels.
Along with leaders Botafogo, The Tigre are yet to fail to score in the league this season – notching on multiple occasions in 5/15 (33%) of them – and will look to breach a Flamengo defence that has recorded only three shutouts in the league this term, with just one of those arriving across their previous 10, which came away at rock-bottom Fluminense.

Criciúma are the Both Teams to Score kings in the Brazilian top flight this season, with 13/15 (87%) of their outings featuring goals at both ends – and given both have obliged in 12/16 (75%) of Flamengo’s league contests this term, including nine of their previous 10 – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides getting on the scoresheet in the Maracanã on Saturday night.
