Euro 2024 Bet of the day

After seeing Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day postponed at Oxford due to the weather, The Football Bet of the Day returns on Monday and sees me focus on the Premier League encounter at The Amex.

⚽️ Brighton & Hove Albion vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

??????? Premier League

⏰ Monday 22nd January, 19:45

Two clubs separated only by two places and three points in the Premier League table as mid-table pair Brighton and Wolves meet at the AMEX this evening in what promises to be a highly competitive clash.

Roberto De Zerbi’s hosts have scored 38 goals across their opening 20 Premier League encounters this campaign, with 22 (58%) of them coming on home soil. The Seagulls have found the back of the net in all bar two of their league outings this term – including in all 10 (100%) in front of their supporters – and will look to breach a Wolves defence that’s registered just three clean sheets in the Premier League this season, with all three coming against two of the bottom four.

Gary O’Neil’s visitors have scored 30 goals across their opening 20 Premier League matches this term, with 14 (47%) of them coming on their travels. The Old Gold have made the net bulge in 18 of their previous 19 Premier League outings – scoring on multiple occasions in nine (45%) of them – and will look to find the target once again against a Brighton defence that has registered a solitary clean sheet in the Premier League this season, conceding 33 goals.

Bet of the Day

Brighton’s opening 20 Premier League fixtures this campaign are averaging 3.55 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score banking in a league-high 18 (90%) of them – and given the same has landed in 15/20 (75%) of Wolves’ Premier League outings – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides finding the target once more.

To nudge up the price, I’m happy to throw in both sides to be shown a card, a selection that has clicked in 35/40 (88%) of the pair’s Premier League contests season.

  • Both Teams to Score & Both Teams Over 0.5 Cards
  • Pays 19/20 (Betway Bet Builder)
