Football Bet of the Day

Following on from Saturday’s winner in France, Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Chinese Super League, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

⚽️ Zhejiang FC vs Qingdao West Coast

🇨🇳 Super League

⏰ Sunday 27 April, 13:00

Two clubs separated only by three points in the Chinese Super League table meet in Hangzhou tomorrow afternoon as 10th-placed Zhejiang hosts seventh-placed Qingdao Youth Island in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.

Raul Caneda’s hosts have scored 13 goals across their opening eight Chinese Super League fixtures this season, with six (46%) of them coming across their three home matches.

The Green Giants have found the back of the net in each of their previous 15 Chinese Super League contests on home soil – notching on multiple occasions in 11 of their last 13 – and will be confident of breaching a Qingdao West Coast defence that has kept just two clean sheets across their last 17 Chinese Super League matches on their travels, shipping 2+ goals in 10 (59%) of them.

Shao Jiayi’s visitors have fired in 15 goals across their opening seven contests in the Chinese top flight this campaign, with five (33%) of them coming across their two away matches.

Qingdao West Coast have made the net bulge in each of their opening seven Chinese Super League clashes this season – striking 2+ goals in six (86%) of them – and will be confident of breaching a Zhejiang defence that has kept just two clean sheets across their previous 16 Chinese Super League encounters on home soil.

Bet of the Day

Zhejiang’s previous 16 Chinese Super League clashes in front of their supporters have averaged a whopping 4.50 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals landing in a remarkable (94%) of them, whilst 14 (88%) of them have seen goals at both ends.

Qingdao West Coast’s previous 16 Chinese Super League contests on the road have averaged an eye-catching 3.56 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out in 13 (81%) of them – whilst 11 (69%) of them have seen both teams score – and I’m expecting the goals to flow in Hangzhou on Sunday.
