Interestingly, Spain have struggled more against teams that have sat deep against them (Italy and Albania) and this is something Germany won't do, which sets us up for an open, attacking football match. It wouldn't be a shock to see this one go all the way to a penalty shootout.
Portugal vs France (Portugal 0-1 France)
From one potential classic to one potential borefest. France have been one of the least entertaining teams to watch at Euro 2024 with only Italy and England rivalling them for that prize. They've scored just three goals at the tournament so far – two own goals and a penalty.
Portugal, meanwhile, showed promise in the group stages but struggled to break down Slovenia in the round of 16. Given Deschamps' France are playing defensive football like Slovenia, it's difficult to see Ronaldo and co finding a way past a strong defence that features the likes of Saliba, Kounde and Upemecano.
Three of the last five matches between France and Portugal have finished 1-0 either way so it's a scoreline that is almost synonymous with this fixture.
England vs Switzerland (England 1-1 Switzerland)
England were 30 seconds away from being eliminated from Euro 2024 before Jude Bellingham produced a stunning overhead kick to keep them alive. Their reward for turning things around against Slovakia is a quarter-final with Switzerland, who have been very impressive throughout the tournament.
England are yet to score more than one goal in a match at Euro 2024 and we've now reached the point where we have to accept that is unlikely to change. On the flip side, they have also not conceded more than one goal in any match they've played.
Switzerland have been more impressive than the Three Lions but they have conceded one goal in three of their four Euro 2024 matches which should give England hope.
