IT has been a memorable week for Manchester City and Chelsea after they booked their place in the Champions League Final.

So it’s fitting the Premier League fixture schedule has thrown them together today in a dress rehearsal for the big Euro showdown.

This clash could be seen as a phoney war ahead of the main event but there’s plenty to play for at the Etihad this evening.

A victory would crown City as champions while the Blues are also desperate for the points as they bid to hold off Liverpool and West Ham in the race for a top-four finish.

Thomas Tuchel will take heart from his side’s recent FA Cup win over the runaway leaders, a defeat that ended talk of a famous Quadruple for Pep Guardiola’s squad.

Chelsea shut out City at Wembley and kept another clean sheet in midweek as they eased past Real Madrid.

Since Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard the Blues have kept 18 clean sheets in 24 games so Guardiola’s side could have trouble breaking them down again.

Under 2.5 goals is only really worth it for accas at a best 8/11 with BoyleSports but the odds are a bit better if you bet against BTTS at 9/10 with BetVictor.

The clash at Wembley was level at half-time and a repeat at the Etihad pays a decent 21/20 at McBookie.

There’s little between these sides although I expect both managers to make changes after those midweek games so it’s best to wait to see who plays before placing scorer bets.

Another decent option is the 11/10 William Hill are offering on each team winning over three corners.

The Premier League weekend kicks off with an intriguing lunchtime clash between Leeds and Spurs.

Tottenham have to go for it to keep their faint top-four hopes alive so it bodes well for an entertaining game.

BTTS is just 8/15 at McBookie and over 2.5 goals priced 8/13 so you have to look elsewhere for value.

The same firm have a special on Leeds scoring and picking up over 1.5 cards which looks worth a flutter at 11/10. Spurs will rely on Harry Kane for goals as usual and he’s 5/4 at SportNation for a goal.

Fallen champions Liverpool have drawn their last two in the league and can’t afford another slip at home to Southampton.

Saints beat them at St Mary’s earlier this season but are in dismal form, with just one win in their last six league games.

The Reds are too short at 1/4 with McBookie for a win but doubling it with BTTS increases the odds to 6/4.

It’s a huge day in the EFL Championship as Derby, Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham battle the drop.

The Owls can go above Derby with a win at Pride Park and I fancy BTTS at 19/20. But Wednesday will be relegated regardless if Rotherham win at Cardiff, a game where I fancy under 2.5 goals (24/23, SBK).

Super Singles Tips

  • Half-time draw in Man City v Chelsea (21/20, McBookie)
  • Harry Kane anytime scorer (5/4, SportNation)

Deadly Double Tips

  • BTTS in Derby v Sheff Wednesday and Leeds v Tottenham (216/100, SportNation).
