ENGLAND v BELGIUM
Live on ITV. Thursday June 28, kick-off 7pm
TOP spot is up for grabs in Group G tonight but it's a prize neither side seem too fussed about claiming as finishing second could provide an easier path through the knockout stages.
There's been nothing to separate England and Belgium so far – they're level on points, goal difference and goals scored so if this game finishes a draw the group winners will be decided by disciplinary records (England have two yellow cards to the Red Devils' three) and if that's also a deadlock then the sides will draw lots.
Both managers will ring the changes, with Eric Dier, Marcus Rashford, Danny Rose and Gary Cahill set to be handed starts by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate.
Belgium's Romelu Lukau, Eden Hazard and Dries Mertens are all nursing knocks and unlikely to feature and neither are a trio of players one booking away from a ban – Kevin de Bruyne, Jan Vertonghen and Thomas Meunier.
Harry Kane, leading the chase for the Golden Boot with five goals, will keep his place in the England frontline and there will be plenty of attacking talent on show from both sides so goals could flow.
England have already conceded to Tunisia and Panama while the Belgians leaked two to Tunisia in their last outing so both to score appeals and it's hard to see past Kane for first scorer.
