To Score 2+ Goals Tips
Guys, the FA Cup dominates the Saturday slate but I’m going to steer clear of that this weekend. Two teams that I like the look of to score 2+ goals on Saturday are Falkirk and York City.
Falkirk’s first match of 2025 is a home game with Queen’s Park. The Bairns are top of the league and the top scoring side in the division. John McGlynn’s side have scored 2+ goals in 13 of their 19 Scottish Championship games this season, including seven out of nine at home. They are taking on a Queen’s Park team that have conceded 2+ goals in their last three Scottish Championship away games. The Spiders defence gave up two goals when they were at the Falkirk Stadium earlier this season.
Moving on to York City away at Maidenhead in the English National League. York are top of the table on goal difference after a 1-0 win over Gateshead on New Year’s Day. They have scored 2+ goals in 14 out of 24 league games this season. They will be up against a Maidenhead side that are fourth from bottom and lost 3-1 at Woking in their last match. The Magpies have failed to keep a clean sheet at home this season, conceding 2+ in three of their last five.

Other goals bets l like the look of on Saturday are a BTTS double of Dunfermline vs Ayr and Swindon vs Crewe, 1 point at 13/5.
- Dunfermline are BTTS in their last two league games, and Ayr’s previous away game against the Pars this season saw both teams get on the scoresheet.
- Swindon are BTTS in 12 of their last 15 matches in English League Two, and Crewe have seen both teams score in seven of their last nine league matches.
Over 2.5 Goals Tips
An over 2.5 goals treble of Arbroath, Edinburgh City and Hibernian, 1 point at 5/1.
- Arbroath are overs in six of their last seven Scottish League One matches, Dumbarton have seen over 2.5 goals in five of their previous seven league games.
- Edinburgh City shared six goals with East Fife on Wednesday night, Peterhead are over 2.5 goals in four of their last eight games in Scottish League Two.
- Hibernian have seen over 2.5 goals in nine of their last 11 Scottish Premiership games, and Motherwell are overs in eight of 11 league games away from home.
A roll-up of all seven pays 55/1 for 0.5 pts and a roll-up of all seven being overs pays 85/1 for 0.5pts.
