The betting weekend continues here as Greg MacLean once again steps in for Desmond and he brings us his best goals bets from across the MLS on Sunday, including a Goals Accumulator.
To Score 2+ Goals Tips
Guys, two teams that I like the look of to score 2+ goals this weekend are the Philadelphia Union and St. Louis City.
I’m starting off with Philadelphia Union to score two or more goals in their home clash with poor-travelling Atlanta United. It’s been a nightmare campaign so far for the Union, but they come into this clash scoring eight goals across their last three MLS encounters, and will look to continue their recent upturn in form in front of goal against an Atlanta defence that has kept a solitary clean sheet all season, shipping 2+ goals on 10 (59%) occasions.
Next up, it’s in-form St. Louis City to score two or more goals in their home clash with Real Salt Lake. Yoann Damet’s hosts have fired in an impressive 14 goals across their previous six MLS clashes on home soil – scoring 2+ goals in five of them – and that trend looks likely to continue against an RSL backline that is without a clean sheet on the road this season, shipping two or more goals in six of their last seven.
Going for the usual 3 points double that pays 9/5 with bet365.
Both Teams to Score Double
Other goal bets that I like the look of this weekend include a 9/10 Both Teams to Score double of FC Cincinnati vs San Jose Earthquakes and LA Galaxy vs FC Dallas
- After seeing just four goals scored across their opening three MLS clashes this term, Cincinnati’s next 14 have averaged a staggering 5.64 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in 13 (93%) of them, whilst 10 of their Quakes’ last 11 MLS encounters have seen goals at both ends.
- The Galaxy’s opening 18 matches in the MLS this campaign have averaged 2.94 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score paying out in a league-high 15 (83%) of them, whilst five of Dallas’ last six have produced goals at both ends.
Over 2.5 Goals Tips
An over 2.5 goals treble at Inter Miami, Vancouver Whitecaps, and Chicago Fire, 1 point at 2/1.
- The Herons’ opening 17 MLS clashes this season have averaged a whopping 4.29 goals per game, with Over 2.5 goals landing in 12 (71%) of them, whilst 7/8 (88%) of The Crew’s road trips have delivered at least three strikes.
- LAFC’s last 13 MLS clashes have averaged 3.38 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals landing in 10 (77%) of them – including in seven of their past eight – whilst five of Vancouver’s last seven home matches have seen three or more goals.
- The Fire’s opening 16 MLS encounters this campaign have averaged 3.25 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in 12 (75%) of them – including in eight of their last nine – whilst 11/17 (65%) of Charlotte’s MLS fixtures have gone Over 2.5 Goals.
A roll-up of all seven pays 15/1 for 0.5 pts and a roll-up of all seven being overs pays 13.5/1 for 0.5pts.
Good luck with your selections on Saturday guys.
Greg.
