Pre-season training might have started in earnest for many clubs yesterday but we're still over a month away from the big kick-off in the UK.
The good news is that competetive football returns next weekend when the Scottish League Cup gets under way and before that there's European qualifying matches for the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League next week.
Until then there's a raft of friendlies, the climax of the U21 European Championships and ongoing league campaigns as far flung as the likes of Ireland, Norway and the US.
